I miss the original Green Truck! Went into the deli, basically no bakery items except for a few pastries in a case. Only bread they had was 4 day old sourdough and Finnish rye. Owner reduced the price by $1!!!! Used to be able to get day old loaves for 1/2 price. I caved and bought a couple pastries. Worst $15 I have spent in my life! The croissant tasted like it had been in the case for 4 days too! $2.50 for cookies the size of a walnut. Sorry....won't be coming back?

We were so exciting about this place and the bakery. We're from out of town and I make my own sourdough bread so when I saw the pamphlet at our hotel and saw their web site we were going. At lunch time they were out of roast beef, turkey and chicken and the bakery had none of the 25 or so items listed on the web page. To top it off we walked right up to the counter and figured out what to order with their limited offering and it took 40 minutes to make 2 half sandwiches that basically fit into the palm of my hand. Very disappointed and will never go back since we visit Warrensburg every year.

This place is a diamond. Best bakery in 1000 miles.Bread, pastries, cookies… everything is unique and perfect. I’ve had at least six types of bread from there (multiple times) and have never been disappointed… sweet or savory.The best is the brick oven cooking. The flavor is not like anything you’ve had. Most times you can catch them still warm. It melts in your mouth.The chefs are friendly and excited by what they do. Truly nice people.If you can only visit ONE place in Warrensburg, make it this one.

I went in and asked for an Italian loaf, they said they don't make it because it doesn't keep. Weird answer for a bakery but then I asked for a French baguette they don't make that either. I asked what they do make and it's just sourdoughs. Never have I ever left a bakery empty-handed or confused about how a bakery doesn't make a variety of breads.
