If I'm on Warrensburg, I almost ALWAYS have to stop at King Chef! Not only is it nostalgic for me, but the food has always been amazing! It's been my favorite Chinese food restaurant since I moved to MO in 1994! That was before it expanded into the sit down restaurant that it is today! I especially love their fried rice and egg drop soup!

The quality of the food was satisfactory. However, the customer service experience was less than ideal, particularly concerning the unauthorized addition of a tip to the final bill. The initial payment of $76 was subsequently altered to $79, despite a cash tip being provided. As a former waitress, I find this practice unacceptable. It is important to note that a $0 tip was specified on the debit card transaction, yet an additional $3 was added.

I loved this place so much I drove an hour and a half to take my son out for his birthday, only to be disappointed all the way round. I didn't finish one thing I put on my plate.(I love me some food too) So naturally the waitress and another employees sat near us and spoke in their language but kept looking at us and when they came and cleared off our still full plates they kind of threw them around and were not friendly the slightest. When we went to pay and tried telling them that we were not happy with the fact we drove so far and could barely stand to eat any of it they acted like they didn't understand what we were saying and offered not an apology not a kind word nothing that would make me want to give it another shot. Crab Rangoon is supposed to have crab meat in it. when there isn't it is called a cream cheese won ton and you should lay off the garlic because it ruins your Rangoon.
