Ordered a DoorDash order through my partners account that requested a non-dairy build your own calzone.
The order arrived and was baked— for us to discover the herb and cheese blend on the calzone. The specific order asked for the Zesty Herb. The lady who was working tonight initially requested we pay for a whole other one—which I’m sorry, when you are called one time to verify the ingredients on the order, say it’s non-dairy, and as we verify that in fact, that herb and cheese blend does contain dairy both on the website and the mobile app—and was very rude regarding the request to replace the incorrect item when agreeing to the request after the second ask.
As someone with a severe dairy allergy that can result in hospitalization—a single bite of that calzone could easily put me into the hospital with severe vomiting and dehydration.
This is not a mistake that should be taken lightly. Dairy Free means NO DAIRY. It could be for a diet restriction or an allergy. You don’t know. I don’t think that Papa Murphy’s would like that sort of pushback.
Yes, there is some level of expectation that an order may be in contact with allergens— but this was an incorrect ingredient added.
Now, excuse me while I hope the one bite of artichoke I ate from that calzone doesn’t trigger a nausea/vomiting stint.

Ordered two pizzas last night, both pretty customized. Both were just how I ordered <3 It was our first time trying the Tuscan chicken and sausage and my four year old has not stopped telling me how “the pizza people at the restaurant really know how to make a pizza. This is amazing”.
