I just ate lunch at 1869 and had the cowboy burger. I asked for it to be medium to medium rare. It was very well done. One bite was like eating the cowboy's leather boot after walking through the horse barn. I ordered a second beer just to wash the taste out. They did credit half off. Tim F.
Would give 0 stars if I could. Me and my friend have recently turned 21 in November and were denied service because our IDs were "fake" by a bouncer. Politely asked if they had another way to verify my REAL id and he said they did not, it was “fake from appearance”. Got another worker (the bartender) to verify my ID and was told I still could not enter because I was "already too drunk" when I was sober. Bartender was on a power trip throughout the interaction because he was wrong about my ID. Just wanted to come home from college and have a fun night with friends, but if you come to the draft room and are 21 you will NOT be served.

I got denied using a real ID by the bouncer even after the bar tender verified it the bouncer doesn’t know what he is doing.

Lots of TV's, Nice Bar. Bartender Dillon is Loud, very Scattered and often Yells profanities over guests trying to enjoy a night out. Not sure he knows how to talk without a cuss word in the sentence.
Overserving customers is the norm at Draft Room and bartenders love to do shots and poke holes in the bottom of Red Bull cans. The food is typical bar food. Always wonder about cleanliness at this place with the way staff handles things. The bar is rarely wiped off. Bathrooms are nasty.
Too bad such a beautiful building can't be represented in a better way.

tried place out because reviews were good and had a nice view of river. that's where it ended. menu looked great as well. lettuce wraps came out first and looked old and wilted like it had been in fridge for days. way too sweet as well. but this was the best part of the meal. my wife ordered fish tacos that she ended up sending back because they were cold, smothered in too much sauce, the fish was way over done and super dry. I had the breakfast burger and onion rings. the burger looked great as I got it but my first bite was a huge disappointment. the meat was so done it was crispy, hard and dry. the egg that was on it was so done the yolk was like powder. the bacon was so done and thin it turned to dust in ur mouth. it was one of the worst burgers I have ever had. my son got the but. same bacon that's on the burger. super cheap thin over done crispy bacon that turned to dust. my daughter got the chicken kids meal. Basically frozen tv dinner style nuggets. because my wife sent hers back the lady just took of her tacos but charges her for her onion rings that came with the meal.....REALLY. I should have known better when we got there it was dead and the marquart tavern right next door was loaded with people. My mistake. won't be goin back as it was an absolute terrible experience and I'm not sure how the reviews speak otherwise.
Food was really good. And our waitress was super nice.

Food wasn’t good at all. The burger was dry and tough. Service was terrible, we sat and waited 10 minutes for server to come to our table even though there were only 4 tables total in the place. My husband had to go to the bar to get my soda because the waitress forgot. Will never go back.

We hope if you go you are lucky enough to get Joey as your server! He hustles all over the place and never misses a beat.
The mango habanero wings were delicious! Crispy with the best sauce I’ve ever had. Also loved the large serving of onion rings for an appetizer.
You must try the Desert Mule. My husband loved it so much he ordered 3!!!

They really need to upgrade on their food or do something cuz I've been there twice and the food is just not great.. the atmosphere and the service is wonderful. Someone needs to take some cooking lessons or update the menu and put something up better!!!

Big selection of draft beer. Got the cowboy burger with Ghost pepper cheese and sliced bacon and whiskey battered onion rings. Burger was 10/10. Super juicy, messy. Just the way it's supposed to be. Onion rings were some of the best I've ever had. And I cook. Waitress was gorgeous and a super sweetheart. On top of her game. My glass never went dry. Pricing was fair. Atmosphere was nice. Im just a passer thru, but will definitely stop here again, give the opportunity.
