Big Boys Grilled Subs and Wings

Lauren, Amanda and Monique. They all deserve a raise or at least some kind of Thanksgiving bonus!! We met up with family for the holidays. We came from all over. My wife and I drove up from San Antonio Texas. Her sister came in from Maine with her two kids. Other family members drove from all parts of Missouri and beyond. Once we met up, it was unanimous decision on where our first meal would be. Big Boys Grilled Subs. We had plenty of kids with us and we ordered quite a bit of food. No matter, though, Lauren got all the orders right the first time. Amanda and Monique backed her up with a smile. We were very well taken care of. No question about it, the food was delicious and hot. Everyone was very very friendly and invited to come back soon. What a wonderful staff. Truly professional and down-to-earth. (The bathroom artwork is hilarious, by the way. You’ll just have to check it out when you get here. Trust me.) I promised I would leave a good review and I apologize it took so darn long. These ladies really know what true customer service is about.

I have nothing against the place, first of all. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the food is pretty good once you actually get it. If you come inside to sit down while it's busy, though, be prepared to wait over an hour for your food. The atmosphere itself is not great. Multiple flies going around and honestly, the seating isn't very comfortable for waiting so long. I'm not expecting a 5* restaurant experience, but personally, I'd suggest cracking down a little more on flies that fly in from outside, possibly rearranging the seating bc it can feel cramped at some tables with people walking all around it and bumping into your chair constantly. Wait times on food could definitely use improvement if possible. Just some ideas/opinions.

However, for anyone who doesn't mind this stuff, this place is great. The food is great and the staff are very, very friendly. Even if I personally did not love everything about my experience, I still wish well for the owners.

Big Boys is such a gem! The food is great, big portions, high quality, fresh and tastes amazing! Service is awesome! Skip the national chains and get better food while supporting a great local business which supports our community! The owners are very involved with many of the local events and are always willing to help!

Amazing sandwiches! The first time I was there, I got a Cuban that was pefect, second I got the chicken parm sandwich. It was mid.

Overall some of the best food I have had since I got here!

Service was okay, family and I came a bit lit 740pm when they close at 8pm on a Saturday. They did seem to hate that, very visual on the disdain even peeping my eye into the kitchen they seemed to be fuming.

Atmosphere could use some work. It's very dated not that they could fix that without a remodel and has no affect on the food of course.

Use to be great in all areas, not anymore. Ordered a prime rib sandwich, it was not prime rib. It was top round and old. Thought maybe they had an off day. Again ordered prime rib, got top round. Since I had eaten here for years I gave it another try. This time ordering chicken parmesan. Didn't resemble chicken parmesan. Was fried in flour, not Italian bread crumbs. Very small amount of white cheese. A little bit of marinara sauce and I do mean little. You to buy buy their sandwiches at a local gas station. Got where they tasted like a sandwich that had been laying around to long. Now I've noticed they no longer sell their sandwiches at that gas station. I hope they go back to the way they used to be.

First time visiting. It was amazing!!!! The staff was so kind and attentive. Helpful with the menu. Fast service and with a smile!!! Thanks for a great experience. I always get nervous trying new places, but we were so glad we tried it!!

We tried Big Boys today for the first time. The food was great. It wasn’t overpriced, the food came out quick and the staff was friendly. We made a to go order and waited outside because we had our dog with us in the car, and they even brought out our food to us, which was completely unexpected and so nice. All around a great experience.
