Staff - Friendly and nice. We got to talking about so many things I almost forgot I had other stuff to do that day! 🤣
Food - So good I ate most in my car before remembering to get a picture. I have an egg and dairy allergy and there is a sign above the food that states All food egg and dairy free. It made me so relieved I have options for fresh baked food I don't have to make myself again!
Environment - the outdoor seating faces the sunset on the river and is close to the train station. Very atmospheric and aesthetic, and inside has a play area for littles, tables for indoor eating, and a couch for comfy sitting next to the play kitchen. It's bright, clean, easy to navigate, and fun!
Price - I got a large cinnamon roll, 2 cookies, and a big muffin plus tip for about $20.32. Compared to the vegan shops in the city, the price really sells it for me too. They aren't trying to gouge your pockets because you have to live on a special diet.

We love this bakery! We started going here due to my son’s dairy allergy! We just got him a German chocolate cake for his 6th birthday, it was one of the best cakes I’ve ever had! I would recommend everyone try the German chocolate cake. You can’t even tell it’s dairy free. It was so moist and delicious. Everyone at his party loved it.

It’s always so difficult to find a baker for holiday pies that can SAFELY accommodate the allergies in our family (dairy, egg, and gluten) but Birdie’s knocked it out of the park! The pumpkin pie was exquisite and definitely didn’t suffer from lack of flavor like a lot of vegan and gluten free items can. We will definitely keep coming back!

I really enjoy the feel of this bakery but the only thing that I liked from what I ordered that I would come back for was their cherry mango smoothie. I had a golden milk tea which had to much turmeric, I was practically drinking undissolved powder. I also didn't realize that this is a dairy free establishment so all the drinks are made with oatmilk which is not my favorite. The scones and cookie pies were good for being dairy, egg and gluten free so if you have any of those food preferences this is the place for you! I think I am going to stick to my classic ingredients and will probably only come back if I am craving a smoothie, because that was really good. The workers were very nice and friendly and its a cute place to sit down and chat, so it has its pluses and minuses.
