Waited 20 min for our order to be taken, went at 7pm so they were slow. Waited 15 min after ordering without even an appetizer brought out yet. People next to us went up to pay and they were serving them a plate at check out to put in a box because they were tired of waiting.
We went on a week day about 11:40 am. They seated us and our waitress didn't come for a long time, getting just the drinks took quite a while. She wouldn't go around checking on customers, even us when we were looking at her and said excuse me. She never came back and refilled or even offered to refill any of our drinks the entire time we were there. She acted like we didnt exist until she wanted to come to our table. It took a long time for the food to come out. We almost just left. When she finally came back to take our order it seemed like she was having a hard time understanding everything. Like no I don't want the chicken strip meal i just wanted the order of just the tenders and sauces. When she finally brought the food out she would bring us one or sometimes two plates at a time with 8-12 minutes between between each plate. She didn't bring one person's order at a time. We all got random plates instead of one person getting all their items. It was all mixed up and we were even missing frys and banana bread and a side of ranch that we had to remind her and ask for several times because she forgot. When she finally brought them she leaned her chest on the banana bread that was on the tray while she sat down a different item on the table. We never got the other ranch. The cinna-biscuits were extremely dry and beyond crunchy on their corners. The chicken tenders came out and they were soggy on the bottom from sitting in a puddle of grease in their bowl plate. The burger was cold and the beef patty was completely flavorless, it also had an entire chunk of onion that was to much. The kids meal was way smaller than what we were expecting. It came with one little piece of French toast and one sausage link and a bowl of cut up apples that looked like they were covered in bruises. The only decent meal was the grilled chicken. The only good thing was the bathroom was at least clean. My husband and I agreed it was definitely a waist of money and won't be going back.

My card was overcharged by $20, and to make matters worse, the pot roast was tough. We also ordered a burger, but it seemed different from what we’ve had before. I used to visit often, but after this experience, I don’t think I’ll be returning.

It was busy but we didn't have a wait to be seated, and it didn't take long for our food to come out.

The homestyle comfort food this chain is known for was delicious. Although it was understaffed, service was prompt, courteous, and inviting. The steak tip omelet was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend this location. Veteran friendly was the added bonus. I salute you.

I have tried to eat there two times in about 8 months time. The first time by myself, last summer. I was seated and ended up leaving before my order was taken. Then again today before being seated.
I can't rate the food. I can rate the feeling in this restaurant. They are not welcoming, they refuse to acknowledge your presence and quiet honestly could care less if you're there or not. It feels low in there.
Today as we pulled on to the lot I was telling my husband about my experience last summer and noted the lot didn't have many cars in it.
I told him everyone has a an off day and I'm not holding it against them. That I'm perfectly willing to go back. After not being acknowledged again this morning I won't try again. Thus, the empty parking lot on a Sunday morning at 9:00.
I usually loved going to Bob Evans! But my meal was awful and very slow!!

I have order 2 meals to go the first was the lemon chicken and the chicken was the size of a silver dollar. Then I tried their Turkey dinner and the turkey was shredded and tasteless. They need to improve their dinner menu.

We made over a $60 order for dinner and got basically the bottom of the barrel when it came to food. Disgusting, cold and some missing. The picture doesn’t even do justice.
