We had our yearly office summer get together here and it was just perfect!!! The pool and Bbq area was so wonderful and we had a blast relaxing out there. The host has everything. All the little details and everything you need is there… if you forget something they have it. The pics don’t show how huge the house is. Three bedrooms on the second floor share a bathroom and the third floor bedroom has two huge beds with its own bathroom. And then there’s even another attached bedroom with a bathroom. The beds are perfectly decked out with amazing pillows and bedding. The town has places to grab food around everywhere wether it’s going out to a restaurant, bars, or making food in the fully stocked kitchen. It had everything you could need (even had a shaker bottle for protein shakes). I can’t recommend this place enough for gatherings and beauty.Walkability: The restaurants and bars are just around the corner and the town is so cool

Like most of life, experiences have highs and lows, and this experience was no exception. We wanted to tour this house before renting for our wedding weekend due to the heavy investment. The owner provided us a timeframe to stop by and the tour of the house. The tour could only be what I could describe as utter chaos as she frantically ran throughout the house trying to flip it for the next set of renters.Ultimately we decided the house was the best option for us and we booked for the weekend of our wedding. Due to Covid our initial date was unfortunately cancelled and we were forced to search for a new weekend where Brick Rose and our venue were both open. We were able to mutually find a weekend that worked and for that we are grateful. Communication was lackluster at times, but the owner was able to accommodate our needs. The actual experience of the house was fantastic. You will not find a place that is more unique or filled with more character.

Can’t say enough how much we loved this house! Everything is so beautiful you never want to leave. The owner was amazing, easy to contact and brought enough doughnuts for all 9 of us to eat for 2 days. The house is within walking distance of all the bars, restaurants and shops. If you are going to Washington, stay here!!

Similar to another review, we had a horrible experience with Tarah, the host and owner of this Bed & Donuts. We had booked this property and at 4 weeks before our reservation date, requested to change the dates of our trip or cancel due to the COVID #s rising and health concerns among our group. She wouldn't cancel or change our reservation, stating that we had accepted a discount which caused our trip to be nonrefundable (which I don't recall seeing, nor was it in the fine print of her cancellation policy that I could find). The truly shocking part was that she wouldn't change the dates of our reservation; is there a good reason for this? We were willing to pay more for a different weekend.Three messages: 1. reaching out initially to see what we could do, 2. asking again, stating that my mother in law's doctor is urging her not to travel of which she responded, "did you purchase travel insurance?" which led me on a goose-chase to see if AirBnB offers travel insurance (it doesn't) and then researched travel insurance which wouldn't have worked for us anyway. The third email was me officially requesting a date change through the AirBnB app, I thought maybe then she'd see that we were willing to pay more for a different weekend several months from now. She simply wrote for us to cancel through AirBnB and that she was no longer interested in renting to us. I had to jump through additional hoop with AirBnB to get a doctors note and send it to them in order to get a refund, of which we did get our full refund, so this isn't at all a knock against AirBnB. We've had other cancellation experiences with other Hosts that went very well, even paying a service fee.I think AirBnB likely needs to limit the cancellation policies of the hosts, a full 30 days before the reservations feels like plenty of time to cancel and have the host find a new family for those dates. I do consider and have sympathy for small business owners. But Tarah wouldn't have been out any money for changing the dates of our trip, and her customer service skills were horrible with delays in responses, not responding to a direct question and basically putting us on her blacklist. She came across as a hateful individual and I'm grateful we didn't end up giving her our money.

Very disappointing. ****Highly suggest anyone exercise a high amount of caution before booking with this location****We had booked a weeklong family vacation and in good faith reached out to the owners to obtain a refund. The owners of the Brick Rose agreed to pay, them sent the wrong refund amount, reported that they would send the refund minus booking fee in full, but there was an error on their computer & we would need to cancel it online on our end. The money was never sent. We would have been eligible for the full refund per the COVID policy had we not cancelled per their instructions . We followed up with Airbnb who stated that the owners declined to give us a refund. ****Intentionally misled guests for financial gain******

Beautiful 100+ year old mansion rehabbed and registered as national historic home. Each room thoughtfully decorated with premium touches. Took our fam and some kids friends along for 5 day trip. Private , generous heated pool, hot tub and plenty of patio seating and massive grill. Each floor had its own a/c unit. Older teens liked the mother-in-law quarters - with its own kitchenette. Tarah was awesome and was very responsive to a couple minor issues. She spared no expense to make this 3 story mansion a special space. Even a box of fresh specialty donuts were personally. delivered on the first day! Easy walk to riverfront and shops. It does sit on a busy road between the Tilted Skillet and a gas station. No worries about parking - a huge driveway pad behind the home, we had 4 cars parked there comfortably. Would be our first choice for accommodations in the future!

Spacious and luxurious house. Great amenities. The donut variety was ok and wasn't really enough to feed us all, but the area around the house was well kept, and the town was nice and homey.

We've been here for 2 bachelorette parties and it's spacious, and the pool and hot tub are fantastic!!
