Me my girlfriend just moved to Washington exactly a month ago and live within walking distance right by Dairy Delight. It's became our FAVORITE place to eat in Washington. It beats hardees and any other competitors by a long shot. Hardees shakes are 4.99. Same as dairy delight. But at Dairy Delight you get way better quality ice cream, have more than 3 flavors to pick from, and they actually fill the cup/cone/malt/shake/floats all the way up where as hardees fills them half way and fills the rest and cheese from D.D. is way fresher and better quality. Not to mention the people who work there are so nice and cool and respectful. Thre customer service is what brought us back the first 5x but now it's just the whole experience. WE figured we would Try hardees and it we spent 38$ when we usually spend under 25$ at DD for.These DD employees are always super nice and sweet and definitely deserve a RAISE!

Best cheeseburger in Washington! The service was outstanding, the staff member Peyton works so hard, and has best smile to be greeted with! He really makes the entire restaurant run smoothly. Peyton truly is the best!

The food is excellent and captures that old diner feel perfectly. But the building has not changed , leaving the seating as limited and uncomfortable. Don’t typically plan on easily getting seating where especially for the family. It’s often best to grab and eat sitting in the back of our truck. It doesn’t travel well so if you want the best experience sit outside usually.
Great little ice cream shop with both soft and hard ice cream, and good burgers and fries. They offer "gooey" cheeseburgers, or burgers with regular, cheese slices. Locals love the gooey burgers, but both are very tasty. Very friendly staff.

Just took a chance and stopped in for lunch. What wonderful atmosphere, service and smiles! The food was very good; old fashioned crispy-edged burger and skinny fries for my husband, and chili dog with chopped onions and onion rings for me. Delicious, and so reminiscent of the old days’ ice cream shops, back when we were dating.Thanks, Terrill, for a great memory! We will be back!
Me and my roommate saw this place and decided to get lunch here!I got a grilled ham and cheese, curly fries, and toasted ravs with blackberry maltThe grilled ham and cheese was so cheesy and perfectly toastedThe curly fries were soft on the inside and perfectly crunchy on the outsideAnd the toasted ravioli was SO PERFECT and it came with marinara sauce that was very hearty and good!!The employees were so kind and offered assistance when we said it was our first timeThey have a jukebox which is a PLUS for us!TL;DR: It is the BEST place to go for an 80s diner kinda experience, with great ice cream and kind workers we give this place a 10 out of 10!!
When I walked in, I was immediately relaxed. The atmosphere was nostalgic, and the wait staff were super friendly and helpful. The food was pure comfort and absolutely delicious.
