Went here after looking up local diners on google, as I try to support family style restaurants when I travel. Walked in and was greeted right away and told to sit where we wanted. Place was pretty full with locals all chatting across tables like a community of friends. I ordered a “three little piggies” omelette and my friend ordered the chicken fried steak. The meal was on our table in under 10 minutes even though the place was packed. My omelette was stuffed to overflowing...
Reuniting with friends that we had not seen in 50 yrs, we loved the atmosphere, friendly service and downright good food! Cant wait to visit again, as Washington, Mo. was our 30 minute, 1/2 way meeting place for each of us.
Parking: Reuniting in the parking lot, we asked an arriving couple about dining here. They bragged about the food and service, as they ran in for a quick lunch between thier jobs on their 48th Wedding Anniversary!😃WOW!

Always busy, yet always great service! My cup is always full, and I love that!! My favorite is the beef n noodles on Mondays. And, I LOVE their reuben sandwich. Oh, and their coleslaw is SO good!
