I haven't eaten at Sonic in years so I wasn't sure what to expect. I just ordered a double cheeseburger and fries. To my surprise it was outstanding. Reminded me of Culvers or the old Stake and Shake. Smashed patties and really fresh bun. Fries were good as well. Definitely high on my very short fast food joint list.

The food here is amazing! My favorite so far has been the shrimp and grits. But we also love the chicken fried chicken (it is not your traditional recipe, with the thick breading), spinach artichoke dip, toasted ravioli (they are so full!), and homemade chipotle ranch dressing. The staff has been great.

Food was good but our server was awful. She took appetizer order and left. When she came back she took my order and walked away, my husband had to yell to get her attention to place his order. Appetizers came out with salad and she spilled my husband's soda. We had to ask for napkins and plates to eat appetizers on. She seemed to be serving other tables and not ask if we needed anything. She needs to be working in a different field and not hospitality.

WOW! This was our first time and we are so happy we found the Tilted Skillet. We got there very late and they welcomed us and we had one of the best meals ever. The salad is a real salad. The scalloped potatoes are amazing. I had the top sirloin and my hubby had the sword fish. The music was great. We are definitely going back.

One of our favorite restaurants! Always has been & always will be! Fresh ingredients, homemade dressings, delicious food & drinks! You can't go wrong eating here! Does get busy for dinner, could be a wait BUT so worth it! Always get the mac n cheese for a side! THE BEST MAC YOU'LL EVER HAVE!

Our waitress was rude to us. She had a short reddish bob. We waited a long time for her to take our order and then she didn't tell us the specials. She didn't come to ask us if we needed refills. We had to catch her to ask. The food was usually good there, but my shrimp were way oversalted so I only ate a few. It was our Anniversary so we were just really disappointed.

I was in Washington Missouri the other day to visit my friends bed and breakfast. They unconditionally recommended this place. Got there about 1:30 on a Tuesday afternoon, was greeted promptly by Tom who led us to a large table for a party of four, it was quite comfortable. Every one of us had an enjoyable meal. I personally went for the walleye you don't see that much in the midwest it was a huge portion and delicious. My friends had a burger, a salad, and a sandwich. There was so much food it was more than one could eat. I can't tell you how delicious everything was. The quality of our meals, was exemplary.
It appears Tom was not just the greeter and seater but he was also the chef and possibly the owner. I really love this place and I will make the 50 me drive out to Washington just to dine there again perhaps next time for dinner.
