A few of the workers are completely rude. I was doing school there because I am a regular and I was about to order when one of the workers walked up to be with complete attitude and told me “ the coffee shop was not a library” and told me that if I am not going to order than I need to leave. Even though I was going to order, I did not want to after the attitude. I do not recommend sitting in this place due to the rude workers, I only recommend it for the coffee.

I want to start by saying I do enjoy this place and the atmosphere so much. I’ve been going here for about two years on and off so I was really surprised and slightly embarrassed when a worker came up to a different person and me to tell us that I can’t stay there unless I buy something because “that’s how they pay for their wifi” meanwhile I didn’t have any devices out, I had my textbook and notebook out. she then proceeds to tell me “the library is across the street” and that just wasn’t necessary to add. I came here for a reason; if I had wanted to go there, I would’ve! :) I’m not upset about needing to buy something because I usually buy something to support them! But I haven’t in the past, so I don’t know when this started and whether there’s a sign explicitly stating this policy. I think the lady employee could’ve overall been nicer about it.

Met a friend here for lunch. What a cute place! The decor is country/retro- spacious and very comfortable. We each had a sandwich. The staff is friendly and very welcoming. The food was tasty and the portions were plenty. I will definitely go back and try the coffee next time!

One of the best atmosphere’s of any coffee shop I’ve ever stepped into. Comfy seating in every corner, interesting stuff all around—the kind of shop you can sit in all day and enjoy a book/work.The espresso could use a little work getting dialed in but is certainly not that bad—they use a local roaster from St. Louis. If you’re ever in the area, this cafe would be my recommendation for an espresso/coffee.

Such a cute coffee shop. Quite a bit of room. The coffee options are amazing and they also have good food options. I opted for one of the seasonal coffees and a quiche. I had to go to Washington and needed a place to stop in to work for a couple hours. The staff was friendly and it did not take long to get my order. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

Visiting area for 2 nights and knew I needed to make it here. Eating a yummy quiche and drinking a London Got tea which they call River Fog. Highly recommend both and to have a sit and just relax for a bit

Stopped for lunch while traveling. We got a Black Forrest Ham sandwich (good), a chicken salad croissant (couldn't finish it...way too soupy with mayonnaise), banana bread (phenomenal!) and berry iced tea (delicious). We'd stop for coffee and a pastry again. Cute, inviting space and a nice staff.

I went to the bathroom only to wash my hands for 30 seconds and I come out and the older lady was angry that I didn’t hear her call out my food. Not to mention a baby was crying and I was sitting in the corner. There are many ways you could miss it. Either have a better system or don’t get a bad attitude when people don’t hear you the first time.
