Waited more than 30 minutes for my meal. I visited a Dennys in Rochester, one person was by himself, ate within 15 minutes. Wayland Dennys had plenty of help but they were not good at their job. Would NEVER recommend this place.
Parking: Tractor trailers on the north side/free high pressure air side also . Travel center fuel gas/diesel also showers $17 on South side along mixed with Denny's restaurant side,electronic lotto machines on both sides of building along with bathrooms on both sides as well there is also a large propane mother tank to sell by the gallon if one needs refilled but not after 9pm is what I was informed by a manager lady ,Alice..She is very nice.
Kid-friendliness: Denny's does have a special for kids under 13 free! And offers a to go container for food and drink is great for finishing later for a snack.
Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp assessable,no auto open doors.

Placed a to go order and when I arrived 30 minutes after I called it in, they hadn't even started it because they forgot to turn the ticket in. Food was sloppily thrown together. The order was for 2 people's food and they threw all of it in 1 container. Offered no apologies for their mess up. Parking is horrible as well.

Ordered cheeseburger with Swiss cheese and was charged for changing from American to Swiss. Was told upcharge for onion rings was. 79 and was charged 1.09. Friend ordered double cb and was charged extra for the 2nd patty even though she ordered it right from the menu. Didn't notice the upcharges till we left. Won't patronize the Wayland truckstop Dennys again. Check your receipts carefully before leaving.

Had the family to eat of 8. Food was delivered to different members at different times. They were done and was still waiting on Food for other members. The food was cold, ordered steak medium and it was cooked over well done. Had to wait over an hour to start getting the food. Will not be going there again.
Stood for 10 minutes. Waiting on a table 2 waitresses would walk right by me look at me up and down and walk way. Soon after I walked closer to the kitchen and ask if their was a Manager. Then the waitress attended me. She got me a booth and ask me what I wanted to drink. I heard her talking to a lady about me . Something about my kind. I ordered my food which it was very good. But the service and the waitress was very uncomfortable. We live in the United States of America. Not in Nazi Germany The other waitress that was their also had and attitude. Even when I was paying for my meal. I certainly did Not give a Tip. Which I always do Not this Time I am Hispanic Truck driver

The last few times we have gone to Denny's, there have been staffing problems. We have waited long times for our food. This last time, we decided to give them a try as the parking lot was not busy. The restaurant was not busy, only a few people were seated, so we stayed. We waited about 40 minutes, and when the waitress came to refill coffee,water, and the gr daughters chocolate milk, our little lady asked when our food was coming. I'm hungry? The waitress informed us we would still have a wait because a cook, waitress, and dishwasher all had called in. At least there were no arguments this time. I think we should have been informed of the slow service. The waitress did inform guests that came in after the reservation party of 12, which was probably 😳 😬 overwhelming for the few that were staffed.
It is so sad to see so many businesses having staffing problems. We are HIRING signs up but not get filled.
