“Service was timely and good. I got the meaty nachos which were good but presentation could have been better. The meat was placed on the plate then the chips and toppings were put on top of the meat made it impossible to eat as nachos so i had to take a fork and mix it all up. Otherwise they were good.”

“Lovely mom and pop diner housed in an old motorcycle bar just off Highway 61 in Wayland near the Missouri-Iowa border. Great breakfast cooked to order, daily specials, and a friendly owner. There’s not much signage besides the old Fat Boy’s Saloon sign so don’t pass it it up!”

“Good food. Normal Denny's comfort food. Don't expect fine cuisine here. They were short-staffed, so service was very slow. Easy off and on for the highway.”

“2 Chicken Tenders, a bacon egg & cheese biscuit, & Lg. Potato Wedge w/ a drink cost us $16.25 when I got to the car I realized how much we were charged so as my husband pumped gas I took the food back in and asked for a refund. I was refused a refund and was told to call back at 8am to talk to the manager. There were 3 other customers in the store who also agreed that it was way over priced, and so did an older lady who was also an employee. Calling to speak with a manager has been a joke.”

“The place is pretty good size and it was nice and clean and busy the food was great and the person who waited on us when we were there was nice me and my brother would come back here again btw we visit this place on 03-03-2024.”

“I have dug here twice now and I'll be back again. The owner is amazing and very accommodating. The digging here is not super easy. Be sure you have your rock hammer, gloves, and chisels. There are some enormous geodes here (I took one home that was 65#, but I haven't opened it yet) but be prepared to work for them. Lots of calcite in these which make them heavier so voids can be deceiving.Be sure you bring water and something for shade if the weather is hot. Other than that, you'll have an amazing time!”

“You can place your order through the Slice App, over the phone, or in person. Good pizza with a wide variety at reasonable prices. In my opinion they have the best cheese sticks in the area!”

“We went in and were immediately greeted with a welcoming smile! We had just came from a different diner that we had a poor experience with and wanted some dessert. We got a couple of banana splits and they are HUGE! Definitely worth the money! Highly recommend!”
