I have known about this place for awhile, and finally got here, today.
This delightful, friendly to all, little restaurant boasts a James Beard nominated Chef, many times over.

I watched a waiter take an order from two men seated at a 4 top. We were shoved into a 2 top even though it was empty. We asked the same waiter if he would take our order. He told us he would prefer us order at the counter. They add 15% to your order and won’t give table service. Maybe I’ll get carry-out because I got a gift certificate.
Our first trip ever to the Balkan Treat Box started with a very helpful server coming up to us at where you order and handing us the menus and helping us decide what to get. It really helped us with our order. We ordered 3 of the most popular dishes as well as some hummus to start. Everything was so good really a symphony of flavors!
