I took it up to the bar and she argued that she hasn't made this drink in over an hour. It was served watered down But she made another drink. Sorry I spent my birthday here. Disappointed

Terribly slow service. Great waitress but the kitchen needs work. We waited 1 1/2 hours after we arrived to get our mediocre food. But the most disturbing was the filthiness of the restaurant. The tables were sticky. THe overall eating area was dirty. The location of the bathrooms would not be conducive to anyone with mobility issues. And the stair way to the bathrooms was so dirty. And the bathrooms were a mess. Again ...the food was mediocre. But our server was amazing. I felt for her. Because it was not her fault that the food took so long. We rewarded her for her hard work and extra attention but I am sure mose won't. On a side note we found out as we were leaving there was a big party downstairs that obviously took away from the attention to the upstairs patrons. Not good

I had a fantastic brunch at C.J. Muggs with my Dining Group last Sunday. The food was cooked to perfection, and the menu had a great selection of both lunch and breakfast items. Our server was excellent - friendly and attentive. I opted for a turkey burger and a cup of clam chowder, and both choices were delicious. The chowder was creamy with fresh ingredients, and the turkey burger was cooked to perfection.I know some businesses struggled during the pandemic, and some received negative reviews. However, if you had a negative experience at C.J. Muggs, I highly recommend giving them another chance. They exceeded my expectations, and I'm sure they'll do the same for you.

I was disappointed with my meal. I ordered the chicken salad. It was described as containing chicken, walnuts, pineapple, cherry tomatoes, egg and avacado on a bed of greens. The greens were nice and fresh, however, I've never been served chicken salad that was a mustard base rather than mayonnaise. I wish the menu had said mustard-based chicken salad, and I would have ordered something else. There were only 2 cherry tomatoes and I did not detect pineapple or walnuts. It was a disappointing lunch. Instead of blasting a review elsewhere, I wanted to write you and express my opinion. Thank you for allowing me to give feedback. Hey, you are covered! THIS IS THE PLACE! The kitchen is open late! (midnight) The bar is open later! The menu has every thing from soup, salad, pub favorites, pizza, burgers, pasta, meatloaf, steak, fish... to dessert! The staff is friendly, accommodating, and professional. Great location, in Clayton near the Metro and the courts. Street parking is no cost after 5:00pm. The clientele is locals, families, lawyers, theatre people, baseball fans, and tourists. Comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Your next destination.

I was in attendance to a baby shower held at the facility. (Great venue by the way) The food was fantastic, service was excellent and the atmosphere was outstanding. Beautiful day doors were open. I'll definitely be bringing others back! ?

Typically I would give it 4 stars. It's standard bar food. Nothing to write a Michelin review about, but reliable and decent food. Tonight's take out was missing the fountain drink and the side of ranch that was ordered. When I called back about the missing drink I asked to have it refunded to my card since I was already back home. Was told only the owner can do that and it would be a few days. Seems silly to have such a policy where your employees can't provide necessary services to customers. Food was fresh, hot, and tasted good though.

Nice little spot in webster.They have a very varied menu, everything from standard bar fair to cajun/creole things to "home cooking" style favorites.The food is good. Staff is friendly. I'd like it more if they redid the interior some. I like booths, and they only have tables and chairs.Parking: There is limited parking on the streets. There is also a public parking lot behind the building with plenty of room, though slightly more of a walk than places with their own, dedicated lot.

We went on a Saturday night and did not know there was live music. The service was slow. We had to ask for napkins and straws and never received a knife or fork. Thank God most if the food we ordered we could use our hands. We probably will not be back.

Mixed reviews on the food. Shrimp and grits was a little underwhelming and not as “saucy” as I like. My husband ordered the Pappardelle Bolognese. He loved it! We enjoyed the bread pudding for dessert. Service was a little slow, but isn’t that the post COVID norm?
Waited for 25 minutes at the hostess stand. No one even acknowledged us or the multiple parties lined up behind us. We left.

I food isn't too bad, but when I went with a group of 5 one of the members got a little sick after he ate, although the waitress didn't ask how well he wanted his burger cooked. The gratuity pay was completely unexpected for are group as well and it would have been nice to know that there was one for a group of our size ahead of time.Other than those two little things, we all enjoyed our food and there weren't any mistakes made.

Sat at the table for over an hour waiting for our food. Got the buffalo chicken melt and it had zero flavor and the chicken was so dry and tough. It was also missing all the sandwich components. It was literally an overcooked piece of chicken with a tiny bit of flavorless sauce on a bun. Will not ever be going back. Skip it.

I come here often because we have meetings here. Most of the food I think is pretty good. The staff is generally awesome. But I must let them know that the chicken fingers appetizer should be taken off of the menu or updated drastically. The breading was thick and not very tasty. The chicken, what will I could find inside the chicken tenders, was dry and absolutely tasteless. I ended up using a fork and knife to cut these things into bite-size pieces, otherwise it was too painful to try to bite into it with my teeth. I sincerely hope that they can fix this because I might try it again in the future if I see that it has changed.
