Le Macaron French Pastries of Saint Louis is a delightful little French pastry shop on west Lockwood in the heart of Webster Groves, open from 9 am to 10 pm. Walking into Le Macaron is like a Fantasy Island episode, with great decor and atmosphere/ambience that is super relaxing. Customers can unwind at the outdoor tables under an umbrella or inside near the street-side window with a great view. The shop offers an unbelievably wide variety of delicious drinks and pastries, including Lavaza brewed coffee, a Carmel latte, hot chocolate, apple turnovers, almond croissants, spinach and feta croissants, and peach jelly candy. The croissants are quite fantastic, flaky, buttery, and oh so tasty. There is also a macaron selection with plenty of unique flavor choices, meringues, candy, pastries, and gelato. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The prices are fair, and the desserts are delicious. Note that street parking can be tight, but there is a free parking lot nearby.
