As an event planner, I highly recommend Olive + Oak. Organized, extremely helpful, on it in every single way. The event space is wonderful, and they absolutely understand how their venue works. Best of all - every single employee that I came into contact with was beyond kind, helpful & fast. Do not hesitate to add Olive Oak+ Oak to your list of possible venues - and if they have the date open, snag it! You will NOT be disappointed.

My husband and I ate here tonight, with another couple. I believe our servers name was Taylor and she was FANTASTIC! I don't even know where to start, but by first impression..walking into the restaurant was relaxing for me..quite the ambience..with low lights, nice music and candle's. We got drinks, but also brought our own wine paying the cork fee. Taylor was so professional, keeping our wine chilled by the fresh flowers. We ordered hors d'oeuvres and entrées. Everything was delicious! Taylor was the most professional waitress I've ever encountered, making sure glasses were full and removing dishes so gracefully you didn't even notice she was there. We never felt rushed or pushed out the door, even though we arrived at 6:30 and definitely were the last party in the place at 9:50. We will definitely return and are so grateful for this night! Bravo! Update: We had no idea they closed at 9! I feel so bad now omg. I'm so sorry. I thought it was 10.

Disappointed... Very nice restaurant, but extremely loud. Difficult to just have a conversation with my wife for our anniversary dinner. The food was just good. Tartar app was probably the highlight. We had the Carne Asada and clams for entrees. Butterscotch dessert and cloud cake were disappointing, cake was very bland.....

Service started out fine, but took way too long between apps and dinner and again too long for desserts. They gave us the butterscotch dessert for free since we were there for our 10 year anniversary, but that doesn't make up for the slowness and just average food. I would have given 3 stars if service had been better.

My husband and I were very impressed with everything the restaurant had to offer. Food was great and the customer service was outstanding. Steve M was our server and he made us feel so welcomed and took great care of us. 10/10 recommend.

Service was amazing, ambiance beautiful. We sat in the back room for a quieter experience. Delicata squash, cauliflower wild rice soup, and the wings were the stars of the table. The burger came in second and is delicious, the fries are amazing. The cabbage was a little too salty and rich for my personal taste preference. The Rockefeller oyster was SO good, it had a nice crust of breadcrumbs on top, with a savory pesto like sauce underneath. The fire roasted oyster was also solid, no breading, but a rich red sauce.

My cousin said the regular roasted oyster was amazing and better than the Rockefeller. Cocktail #190 had perfectly balanced flavors, not too sweet or too alcohol forward. My mom and cousin did not like the kale salad but if you like strong smoked flavor, you may like it.
I was not a fan of the carne asada (it’s seasonal), the cut was high quality but it did not have enough flavor. If you like steak as it is without a lot of seasoning, you will probably like it. Chimichurri that came with the carne did not have enough oil and was vinegar heavy. The potato hash was too mushy and oily, not enough texture. The slaw that came with the carne was solid.

If you're looking for a unique bite to eat this place has rabbit, wild boar, and walleye just to name a few. The service was great, the food very well done. It's well worth checking out.

Food was excellent. Service was okay. Atmosphere was energetic but very loud. It was hard to hold a conversation and we were a group of 4.

The decor and ambiance was nice. Service was friendly and prompt. It is my understanding that the menu changes daily so I get the limited choices of entrees. With that said we found the food to be a bit under seasoned and bland. Most of the flavor was dependent on whatever the food was topped with. For instance, I had the carne asada that was topped with a tomatillo lime salsa. Had it not been for the salsa the meat wouldn't have had flavor
