Excellent food as always however the back room was freezing - the staff did move us to he middle table which helped!
The octopus appetizer was wonderful. My Mahi was delicious. My friend however thought her steak was bland. Most problematic was liquor availability; there was only 2 Vodka brands offered and neither were national brands. I understand going local is the latest bar trend but when the products are inferior it makes no sense. My friend and I happen to know the difference in flavors of gin, vodka and even tonics. When local is more important than actual taste, it's a problem and shades the experience in your restaurant from the very beginning.
The best of the best! Always amazing, always consistent in cocktails, food and service! Don't sleep on the Goat Ragu entree or the beet dish as a starter. Absolute flavor salivator, cannot wait to come back.
many things were delicious, but the appetizer options were all too heavy and rich. Entrees were good, but not quite the "outstanding" that we sometimes get. The octopus appetizer was mostly potatoes and overly seasoned. Pork chop was the best thing by far.
Olive + Oak staff is incredible! They were so accommodating with our stroller and baby. They made our dinner experience wonderful. Great food, lovely ambiance, and we received a complimentary beet root salad from the chef - so delicious!
Our server, Mindy, was outstanding. Professional but relaxed. Knowledgeable too, with good suggestions. And when she asked Ben to assist with wine choice, he too was knowledgeable, without being “uppity”. 😊 Wonderful evening- perfect way to celebrate our anniversary.
We had an excellent meal and great service. Caleb was very accommodating, helping us with the menu and making sure we were done in time for our appointment. The Dip was recommended and was an excellent choice.
Outstanding service, well timed courses, and great ambiance that did not require us yelling across the table at each other. The food was delicious and I cannot say enough good things. It's hard to find a restaurant these days that hits stellar marks across the board, but they completely did at Olive & oak. We will be back for sure!
First time @ Olive & Oak. Excellent. Tom, our waiter, was excellent and helpful. Has a good command of the menu and multi-tasks well
Tom, our waiter, was efficient, knowledgeable and friendly... the staff kept waters filled, plates bussed and replaced silver and napkins with each course. Our drinks were great, and while my burger & salad were wonderful, my husband's charred octopus was overdone and with lots of potatoes overwhelming the primary ingredient. The most delectable item is their signature blue crab gratin appetizer- a MUST try! The atmosphere is happy and noisy and mostly casual dress. I'll be back!

As local Webster residents, Olive + Oak has become a favorite restaurant for us, and when we started searching for wedding reception venues, we couldn't shake the idea of being able to have such a delicious meal on our wedding day. The hall is beautiful as well, with so much wood from the bar, tables and chairs, that we were able to add minimal decor and still have a perfectly warm and inviting feel. We also had a number of guests with tricky dietary restrictions, all of whom expect to get fed pretty minimally if at all at these types of events, but the culinary team was able to accommodate them so well that one of them said it was the best meal he had eaten in a restaurant in a long time.

My husband and I went here for our 2nd wedding anniversary and it was such a wonderful experience!! We have been here a few times before, but Tom our server was so amazing! He was so attentive and helpful and really went above and beyond to make our night so special. The food was PHENOMENAL and I am so excited to come back to try more. Thank you Olive and Oak for such a memorable night!

Wonderful experience! My waiter Alex was only three days on the job, and was able to provide one of the most amiable, accommodating, authentic, and efficient service experiences I've had to-date. It says a lot about a restaurant when a new waiter comes with such great traits and professionalism. The food itself, STELLAR! Tasting notes: (1) Oysters (East, and Broiled w/ Chipotle) pairs well with the wonderwerk orange wine on the menu. Hard pass on the fried oysters — but I bet with a bit less breading they'd be ‘fire.' (2) GOAT meatballs, exceptionally seasoned — not too heavy; not too light. It's served in a bed of whipped feta which compliments it semi firm texture. (3) Lamb leg sandwich is pulled and slightly pastramied(?) meat served on ciabatta and topped with drunken goat cheese, and accompanied by au jus. The plate includes fries, which come to life when dipped in vinegar aioli. I had it with Sinskey Merlot, and I couldn't imagine a more appropriate pairing. Whether you are experiencing the Merlot alone or especially immediately following your first bite of this fun take on French dip, you'll be in heaven.
