First time here. We made reservations in advance and found parking to be convenient. The restaurant's décor was warm and inviting, with white subway tiles behind the bar and blue banquettes around the dining area. The bartender was really knowledgeable and offered excellent recommendations. For starters, we had blue crab gratin and hand-cut steak tar tar, both for $12. The crab was spicy and creamy, and the tar tar was presented alongside warm dollops of slow-cooked egg yolk. They were both gorgeous. Our main dish was gnocchi with lamb ragu and goat cheese, which cost $18. The creamy goat cheese was the ideal compliment to the lamb ragu, and the gnocchi had a nice soft center. The portions were just right, and we left feeling satisfied. Very positive atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious cocktails as well. If you want to seal a good day with a good mood, head here.

It was the most delicious food I have had in a very long time. The service was great . The food was hot and fresh . The drinks was absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend this restaurant. I am a native of St. Louis, but now resides in Mississippi. And when I came back tonSt. Louis , this restaurant was recommended to me by several people. My overall experience was a 5 out of 5 . Our waitress and service was great. Food is amazing! Get the cloud cake! Drinks are delicious and I think I got the halibut. Very good and appetizers were awesome.

Okay so...got a recommendation to go here by the most trusted foodie. The space is lovely. The furnishings, the leather the wine book, the starched napkins. Super interesting cocktails. The food was very middle of the road. This was both a surprise and let down. Service was also fine. Reservations are very easy. Street parking was scanty on a Monday evening. It is open on a Monday which is rare in the restaurant game.

This was really cute restaurant and nice ambience. The wait staff was top notch. The chicken wings were great! All the other food was ordered by the ladies in my party and I don’t know exactly what everything was, lol.. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars, was because I ordered two different drinks and thought they would be sweet, but they definitely weren’t. But, I’m not a drinker.. So take this opinion with a grain of salt.

the food is amazing! i had the dip and it was so tender and juicy. we also ordered the cheese curds and they were fantastic! i definitely recommend. the only thing i did not like about it was the lack of chicken.. but overall it was an amazing experience!!!

I have been wanting to go to Olive + Oak forever. Reservations are hard to get and you have to plan well in advance. After such a long wait, I was unfortunately not blown away. The restaurant is gorgeous. The location is fantastic and the space is really cool. It is very well decorated and just has a very comfortable but extravagant feel. The service was impeccable. Our server was fantastic, helpful, just the right amount of attentive, and the extra touches like warm wet towels after their sticky wings were very thoughtful. The prices were really high for me. There was not a single red wine by the glass under 2 digits in price. Choices were really nice and the cocktails were, I think the word is "elevated". They had fancy glasses and were really cool with infusions and elixers and such. But it was just too much $ for more than one. The menu was very eclectic and very expensive. I had oysters that were almost $4 a piece, and they were pretty regular. The accoutrements, especially the mignonette, were really well done. The chicken wings were delicious. I struggled to choose my dinner because many of the menu options sounded a little too eclectic for me, and the prices were very high. I ended up with a salmon dish. The salmon was very basic, just salt and pepper and seared, but very well cooked and pretty. It was on a bed of a really delicious kale concoction with hazelnuts. The kale was better than the fairly boring salmon. The kids menu was very helpful and pricing as very good. We had the carved steak and "roasted chicken on the bone" (3 chicken wings), both with fries. Portions were on the small side but they were fine, and again, very generously priced compared to the rest of the menu. A kid at the next table had a burger and it looked delicious. I would love to come back to Olive + Oak. It was such a nice place. Next time I will come for happy hour or for lunch to enjoy the experience more for less, and maybe with more accessible choices.

Wonderful experience, service and food- delicious entrees and cocktails for adults and does an amazing job of elevating kids meals and meeting them where they are at- steak with fruit and craisins and the dessert dipper made the experience extra special for our daughter!
