I've loved Perennial beers for years and was so excited to hear they opened a restaurant in my home town!! Food and service are excellent, I've been a couple times and everything was delicious. I love that they offer a half pour size for their beer so I can try more varieties!

Trendy vibe, dark and loud, with many IPAs on the menu. The food is good; there are some inventive choices, like a delish dill pickle aioli, and a tasty take on grilled cheese. The cocktails are great.

Hidden gem
Two family members had just moved to America, and we wanted to give them a good first impression of America, St. Louis, and Webster Groves - so we took them to Perennial. The food was amazing. Beautifully presented and delicious. A really great way to impress people. The waiters and the hostess were really super friendly. Half of our group didn't speak English, and the waiter had no problem being funny and friendly. Also, my brother brings his 4 year old son here a lot, so I guess Perennial is kid-friendly too.

I am celiac and have never walked into a restaurant that presented me unsolicited a menu identifying what is safe for me to eat. NEVER. They also turned on their gluten free fryer in advance of my reservation, in case l wanted french fries (which of course I ordered). The food was outstanding and the service was so warm, friendly and accommodating. We sat outside on a gorgeous day under the pergola and it was truly a beautiful afternoon. We can't wait to return!
Food was very good and the beer recommendation from our server was spot on . Fairly priced and comprehensive menus . A bit loud and table choice limited for two but definitely not a visit . I think I found a new favorite local spot I can even walk to .
We have always loved going to Perennial. The food has always been amazing and the drinks have been on point. Great beer selection and a good selection of food too. Couple things we wished we could change - happy hour going till 6pm to be in line with what olive and oak next door does. The other thing is that we have had a few issues with our burgers not being cooked enough or too charred the past few times we have been there. Hoping this isn't something that will stay as this has been our favorite spot to grab a quick bite to eat.
Perennial is one of my favorite restaurants in STL. I love all of the salads and lunch items. Love the patio. The cocktails are really good. Their burger with Gruyère is particularly delicious and I don't normally like restaurant burgers. They also change the menu seasonally and it keeps me coming back to check out new items.

Impromptu date night for my husband and me. Our first time here. Sat quickly in a corner high table that was perfect for us (had high table reservations for 530pm; the table type is all they had available, but there are some regular tables). It did get a tad weird when people were entering the party room six inches from my stool. Lena was our waitress and she was phenomenal! Very attentive and friendly. We started with an old fashioned and the house hibiscus cordial (both very good!) and the corn & jalapeño benigns (it's like eating a fried cloud ?). I ordered the beer battered fish of the day (monk) and my husband had the Cubano. All the food was tasty, but extremely salty. Even his sandwich was saltier than he would have liked. Despite that, the flavors were good (that dill pickle aioli ??). The inside was chilly (and I'm never chilly!) so be warned, and the restaurant started to get very loud as we were finishing up (just because of the acoustics). Overall, give it a try, esp if you like beers. Ask for Lena's section!
Great beer, great food. Great service too. My favorite hangout. Wish I could go more often.

We really enjoyed our meat and cheese board. Drinks were also good. We ordered the cubano and aviator salad. The cubano was phenomenal. The aviator salad was very spicy and I wish I'd added the chicken. We had the strawberry shirt cake icebox and it wasn't what we were expecting. Less of a shortcake and more of a cheesecake feel. But it was still delicious. We sat outside and enjoyed the patio.
Cubano sandwich was top notch. Better than many we get in FL in Cuban restaurants! Aviator salad was very good but SPICY, I'm guessing from the tahini dressing. So, if you don't care for spicy salad, you might want to ask for dressing on the side.
Perennial on Lockwood’s food was absolutely delicious! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and the presentation was perfectly done. The atmosphere was perfect for our girls night. Hands down some of the best food I’ve had recently and we will be back.
