Webster Groves Garden Cafe Reviews
Warm relaxed atmosphere..
Great music in the yard!! Thanks Gary!
We went after researching on Google because it looked so promising… unfortunately, it was closed. We asked a lady standing outside if she knew when they opened, and she told us they are closed for good.
So sadly, we never got to try it—but I’m still leaving 5⭐️ because it looked really nice.
Webster Groves Garden Cafe is a charming restaurant known for its pleasant atmosphere and attentive staff. The cafe offers a variety of vegetarian options, including a chicken salad sandwich and a spinach/goat cheese croissant. Gluten-free tamales and sugar-free syrups for lattes are also available, making it a great spot for those with dietary restrictions. The hand pies and chai lattes are particularly popular among customers.
This cafe is a great spot for coffee, ideal for sitting and working while enjoying food and drink. The coffee is coffee forward, which some may find strong, but it is still well-liked. The outdoor live music events are a highlight, taking place in a cozy, gently sloping backyard that provides an intimate and COVID-safe setting. The atmosphere is unique, chill, and hipster, especially with live music, like a guitarist playing on Sunday afternoons. While the food selection may be limited for vegans, the small variety of alcoholic beverages, coffee, tea, and baked goods make it a popular destination. The friendly and well-maintained environment contributes to a relaxed experience, different from the typical morning rush at places like Starbucks. The clean and well-stocked bathrooms, along with the easy-to-hear acoustics even when the cafe is nearly full, enhance the overall positive experience.
