I had to remove my first review from 6 months ago. This last visit I had was really awful. The server was lovely as always but the food was really not good at all. The spicy tuna roll did not smell or taste right, nor did the hibachi. It made me sick the next day. Really disappointed and will not be coming back

Staff were all welcoming and attentive. Our server was very kind and remembered little details without asking if we needed them. Our sushi rolls were delicious!!!

We had high hopes for this place, as I love sushi. We went with friends and it. Webt downhill fast.
The service here was absolutely awful. They forgot to bring the rice and veggies for my friend. She asked one of the servers to check on it, to which she received a very rude eyeball. The items arrived about 15 minutes later, when we were done eating. She refused them.
The food was mediocre. My husband had the Filet hibachi, which he said was tough like sirloin. The only thing we cared for was the sushi.

Tasty food at very reasonable prices, the sushi rolls were above average in size making them well worth ~15 or so a roll. The wasabi and ginger were very potent, high quality stuff.

Ordered the Cherry Bomb roll and the West Plains roll, to try two different manners of preparation and a wider variety of components; each roll had its positive aspects (West Plains roll was definitely milder, the coating on the fried sushi rolls is probably the best we’ve had.

First let me say, after reading TONS of reviews from this restaurant, MOST of the reviews done are from when the PREVIOUS owners ran this restaurant. They new owners even changed the name of the place yet they continue to use the old reviews to put them in a 4+ star rating and they absolutely don’t deserve that rating. I’ll keep my personal review short and to the point. Went there today and got a togo order. We ordered 2 rolls, the Ragin Cajun and the Kiko roll. ALL TOGETHER there were 15 pieces, bites, how ever you want to say it. The total was $39.77 That’s WITHOUT adding the tip they were given. 15 bites of food for $40. When the girl behind the counter was asked if there was a mistake, she replied NO, that’s it. The menu says FRESH ingredients, if you know seafood you’ll notice RIGHT AWAY, that is not fresh seafood. I WISH I had read the reviews before WAISTING my money. The place was completely empty of people, not a single customer at the tables, that should have been a sign too. If you’re looking for a place to go eat and leave hungry still, this is the place to go. So aggravating!

Ordered steak and chicken hibachi, my friend got steak and shrimp. Ordered a noodle yakisoba I think with chicken... the steak was tough and tastes old. The chicken was rubbery. The fried rice tasted like steamed rice with soy sauce and maybe some egg in it? I informed staff the rice tasted off like bad eggs and she said oops sorry. I will not be back. The only tolerable thing I got was the salad and soup.

The food, service and atmosphere were great. We had a Bento Box, Hibachi and sushi. The price for lunch is competitive with everywhere else in town.

A Must-Visit Japanese Steakhouse & Hibachi Grill! And BAR!! sake & Drink specials and more!
If you’re looking for an incredible dining experience, Kentzio Japanese Steakhouse and Hibachi Grill is the place to go! We’ve eaten at restaurants all over the United States, and this one truly stands out as one of the best. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the perfect tone for an enjoyable meal. The staff was exceptionally professional and kind, even taking the extra step to repeat our order to ensure everything was exactly as we wanted.
Now, let’s talk about the food—absolutely phenomenal! The presentation alone was impressive, with a stunning bridge display at our table that made the experience even more memorable. Every dish spoke for itself with incredible flavor and quality. The sushi was fresh, generously sized, and tasted amazing. Everything we ate was cooked to perfection, and the sake? Hot and delicious, staying warm until the very last sip—just the way I love it!
The crab rangoons was delicious as well try them!
To top it all off, the prices were very friendly, especially considering the outstanding quality of both the food and service. Compared to many other restaurants we’ve been to, the bill was more than fair.A huge shoutout to Kentzio for such an outstanding experience—we will most definitely be back for more soon! Keep up the fantastic work!
