We stopped here when in the area on a recommendation. Very nice server and kept the coffee full. But it took forever for food - and it was eggs. Husband had French toast which was burnt and should never have come out of the kitchen. I saw the table next to us had burnt French toast too and didn’t eat much - tells me the griddle is TOO HOT. County gravy excellent. Biscuits hard. Bacon perfect. Omelet good. Hash browns just the way I like them. Bathroom clean but freezing and no hot water to wash my hands - I hate washing my hands in cold water! Overall I would go back again.

This is great little cafe. Large portions for a small price. This is exactly what was needed in this little town.

Visited on 11/1 - at first appearance, everything looked good. The real kicker came when we got the total of our meal - which we didn't get to see until it had already been rung up by the cashier - $24.13 - double expectation(hmm first red flag). Be very communicative when you order from this place and ask a lot of questions (ie - is it (be specific) extra $). I ordered One egg with meat for $8.23 - the server asked if I wanted potatoes, hash browns or regular, I asked if it was extra she said no, so I ordered the hash browns ($.71 extra), bread? ($1.02 extra) my menu stated price of $8.23 turned into $9.96. Want biscuits and gravy? menu special said $4.62, would think it would come with 2 biscuits, nope 2 biscuits an additional $1.09. Sausage? an extra $3.08 and hash browns another $3.08 - total $11.25. Food quality probably a 6 on a scale of 1-10. This place needs to be up front and CLEAR on the price of items on the menu!!! We will not be going back.

Great food! Great service! They are maybe understaffed. We went on a Friday evening and they were busy busy busy! Phone ringing off the hook. Be patient! Home made rolls and desserts. Great catfish meal! Breakfast all day! Home made raisin breast toast was almost as good as the service. We stopped in on a way back home from AR. Will definitely stop again on our next trip thru. Would highly recommend stopping in for great diner fare with a professional smile from seemingly completely untroubled by the ever increasing business of the evening.

Blue plate heaven with so many other food options available. Sweet, attentive waitresses. Of all different foods I've eaten there in the last five to six visits, only one didn't make the cut (chicken and dumplings).
