I was out taking photos for a listing and drove by and turned around. I finally had a chance to try this restaurant that I’d heard rave reviews about. I tried the shrimp etouffee, it was delicious! Now I think I’ll try the shrimp or combo platter. Someone else was eating that and it looked so good! I’ll be back-with hubby next time! Service was great. The owner even came out and checked to see if I liked it.

Just for reference, I’m from SWLA and know what REAL seafood is!!! This is in fact THE BEST seafood I’ve ever had outside the state of Louisiana!!! It was seasoned perfectly. It tasted great. It peeled nicely too, and that’s a big deal when it comes to seafood!! The barn dip also tasted great! Our party had boiled shrimp, boiled crawfish, clusters, sausage potatoes, corn, boudin rolls and 4 kids meals, and we all got drinks. Everything was delicious! Service was great!! The place was really busy and they kept up with our service. The owner is in there working with them and making sure his customers needs are met. I am seafood picky being from SWLA, and this place definitely meets the expectations!! I HIGHLY recommend going! Expect to pay what it’s worth because they go down to the gulf to get it and then cook it here. It’s not cheap to do that. Prices are worth it!!! Prices did vary on my ticket from what the menu said and that honestly would be my only negative thing to say. The restaurant is also very clean including the bathroom, and that’s a HUGE deal when you serve seafood all the time! Thank you, Kelby and staff for bringing this restaurant to our area!!! You’re doing an amazing job! I’ve been in the area for 6 years, and this is the FIRST time I’ve met a good seafood restaurant and walked away satisfied as if I were back home. 😊 keep up the great work!

The wait was well worth it. Im from southwest louisiana on the gulf and I can say with all honesty this food was the real deal. Seasoned well. Great southern Cajun cuisine. The menu prices are slightly lower than what was charged. Im talking change on every order. Other than that it was splendid. The wait staff was kind and the owner shook our hands. It was a great experience. I wish I had photos. The parking wasnt easy because the lot is small.

Gater bites, overcooked. Crab clusters, overcooked. Shrimp overcooked. Sausage was fine and corn was good. Service was fine and place was clean. 68.00 bill for food that was barely edible. Left almost all the Shrimp. Would not take home when offer a box to take home and told our server how bad it was cooked. They said they'd tell the cook. Sorry but our meal was a total rip off. Should of got a discount or something. Don't know why other reviews are so high. They either dropped the ball on preparing our food or people around here don't know what good seafood is supposed to taste like. Really bummed us out and this being a first date lunch. I know food, and have tasted and review food everywhere I eat. I would suggest not eating here unless quality doesn't mean anything to you. Update, now we are both throwing up. Food was bad.
We have eaten there a few times and every time I have had a different plate, they have all been delicious. Shrimp creole and rice, boiled shrimp , sausage and this weekend I have reservations for the valentines 4 course meal with lobster, shrimp and potatoes and salad and sausage. Looking forward to it.

We just ate here a few minutes ago for My husband's birthday dinner. I called ahead to reserve a table to make sure we could eat there. We walked in to a table reserved just for us!! The prices are absolutely amazing for a seafood restaurant!! I got a #4 shrimp and cluster with csp...it was absolutely out of this world amazing! My husband absolutely loves crab and I am so thankful I didn't have to drive 2 hours and shell out hundreds for overcooked and overpriced seafood. I highly recommend shrimp runner!!! We will definitely be returning!!
