First of all salad bar from last night was still sitting there have eaten. Ordered breakfast hash browns were mush and they charged an extra Buck for the onions. The biscuits and gravy we're disappointingly tasteless and doughy. The bathroom had a sign posted no paper in the toilet, at all? No toilet paper in the toilet? Very disappointed.

Food needs work. Could be a great place with a little work. Hashbrowns are more like mashed potatoes. Medium well eggs should not have raw whites. Whites should be done and should see thickening of yoke. Bacon wasn't cooked crisp. Being generous with 3 stars.

Best part of the experience that I had was that they played good old-fashioned country music other than that I paid $58 for some of the food that didn't even show up and most of it wasn't even cooked properly the service was lacking severely we never once got refills or even asked if we wanted refills and it was plain to see that regulars were getting served before people who were just trying it for the first time all in all the only reason I gave it two stars on atmosphere was for the country music the rest of it would get a half a star if it would let me all in all I will never pay $58 for four people to eat at what is supposed to be a Hometown Family Diner

Kids meal cheeseburger and fries were fine. My salad and daughter's taco salad had american processed cheese hand tore over our salads. Told us they ran out of shredded when we paid. Enough gravy to drown the lumpy potatoes. Server was nice but food was horrible. $88
Won't be back.

On our way home to Kansas from Arkansas and we wanted a good breakfast. Fortunately we found this “mom and pop” cafe in West Plains, MO. Don’t be fooled by the lack of fancy signs or decor because the food is AMAZING!! The service was excellent and friendly atmosphere. The breakfast exceeded our expectations & we will definitely stop again.

This is exactly what you want in a small town diner. Service was quick but personal. Our server was very sweet and made sure we were taken care of. The food was delicious. You can tell it’s homemade. The star of the show would be the rolls the size of your face. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re traveling through West Plains.

The hamburger steak with gravy was definitely home made and one of the best I’ve ever eaten. The rolls are huge and great with butter and honey. We will definitely stop again when coming through this area.

Parking: There is plenty of room for semi trucks with trailers to park here and the parking is free.
