My family dined at your restaurant on Sunday, October 5, 2025—the final day of the Weston Apple Festival. While we understand that your restaurant was extremely busy that day, we felt it was important to share our experience so that these concerns can be addressed moving forward.
When we checked in and placed our name on the waitlist, we simply asked for an approximate wait time. The hostess (who mentioned she had worked there for 27 years) responded with a rather dismissive and sarcastic remark. Later, we went inside to purchase bottled beers from the cooler behind the hostess stand and were told we would need to go next door to your other location to buy them. Having just left that restaurant and seen a line about 50 people deep, we expressed our frustration. Only then did the hostess agree to sell them to us.
Unfortunately, dinner service reflected a similar attitude—our waitress seemed impatient and unfriendly throughout the meal. While the food itself was good, the overall customer service and tone made the experience disappointing. It appeared to reflect a larger cultural issue within the establishment that might need attention.
I rarely leave reviews, but I believe this feedback is important for internal awareness and improvement. Your staff clearly works hard, but ensuring that guests are treated with respect and courtesy—even during peak times—makes all the difference.

We brought our visiting family here for breakfast this morning. It’s a new thing for this restaurant and it was wonderful. Service was speedy, portions were generous and prices were very reasonable. We plan to come back soon

We had a group of 12 that went for a friends birthday on 8/23/2025. We had a reservation for 2:00 pm and we were 20 minutes early and the hostess her name Betty was the most rude and just down right nasty to our group. We almost turned around and walked out, but decided not to let her ruin our day. We loved our waitress and the food was great, but I must say I wouldn't return because of Betty. Im not sure why you would keep someone that treats your customers that way?

I hate leaving a poor review, but this should not be a restaurant, Gordon Ramsey kitchen nightmare. No one motivated to care. High school cafeteria food at best. (We had fish and chips and pork steak.) Quality of tv dinners. Hot, unclean, in spite of reservations for a specific room, we were seated in a basement corner. Don’t plan a special night here.

We had a wonderful experience here! The staff were friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. There’s lovely seating both inside and outside, perfect for any weather. The food was absolutely delicious — we had the burger and steak, while the kids enjoyed fried chicken with chips. Everything had that warm, homemade taste that made it feel extra special. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with a touch of historic charm in the surroundings.
After dinner, we headed downstairs to the pub, walked through a little tunnel, and discovered a fantastic live Irish music session. A truly memorable evening — great food, great people, and great vibes. Highly recommended!

Went here for a lunch date on the 4th with my fiancee, we were sat down at a nice looking rustic pub Inside nice atmosphere, we ordered a pretzel which was quite awesome! Now what was not so awesome was the water they gave us tasted like LEAD and I've drank out of garden hoses etc but this was Crazy tasting to say the least, it burned my stomach. The service was not good sauces were missing from our order and refills only happened when I asked, I even had to request the other sauces that comes with the item on the menu. We will not be coming back to this place, shame but I'm not wasting our time what was supposed to be a nice 4th of July lunch.

Our server was horribly rude, the lady that sat us was rude, it was terrible service throughout the meal. When we first sat down they told us we had to sit with whoever we wanted on our bill and we couldn't split up. Never in my life has a restaurant told me or my family who we could or couldn't sit next to. We of course sat how we wanted bc that's just ridiculous. At the end of the meal she would not split the tickets and insisted it must be on one single ticket and, but wait there's more!! We were the ONLY people in the entire restaurant. They obviously did not have other people to tend to etc. It was truly unreal. Will never go back and my family has frequent day trips to shop and eat in Weston and we will never eat here again and when people ask where's the best place to eat (bc they do) we will tell them to stay away from this establishment. It was absurd treatment before we even asked if she could split the bill so we can't even blame her rudeness on that.
To answer your response.....we were there Tuesday June 24, 2025 and I think we got there around 1230pm. There were 15 of us. She could have had an amazing tip, even the kids ordered steak we weren't cheap by any means. Her loss. She had blonde hair in a pony tail. The lady that sat us was also blonde short hair. After our server brought the bill and we paid she started clearing plates away from people and kids without even asking if we were finished and moving and slamming things on the table. After that she went outside and never came back in. It really was unreal.

We visited the American Bowman while staying nearby for our anniversary trip. This was the one planned restaurant we had, and we're very glad we ate here! I had the shepherd's pie, my husband had a pub burger, then we shared a slice of cake. Both entrees were delicious. Our waitress was fantastic, she kept the drinks topped up and was friendly. The atmosphere was great, with the oil lamps on the tables and the Irish music playing. It was an experience we're very glad we had.
Very dog friendly, provided a nice relaxing atmosphere with background music that was ambient and not horribly loud. They brought my pup some water. The waitress was also very helpful.
The food was excellent and came out very fast. I loved the vibe of this place. Your menu is a newspaper. You can purchase Weston Brewing Co beer in the lobby by the 6-pack.

Great comfortable place to dine. Thank you, Mandy, for the suggested signature dishes. We'll worth a return visit.
The food was fresh and tasty. The staff was friendly and helpful. Nice spot to visit if you're in Weston. They have indoor and outdoor seating.
Awesome place to visit and great food. Also, Next to the O'Malleys Bar and across street from Pirtle Winery. So visit them as well after for more fun.
Flights for beer tasting were amazing!!!
We had Chicken Salad (just trying to save room for beer), Ruben Sandwich and Crab Cakes. Yummy!
Cute menu too, literally old school.... A Newspaper 📰
Bad Ass 💯
Thanks for a great visit !
Diamond in the rough. We had no idea what we walking into when we walked through the door. Much to our pleasant surprise we found an Irish pub with an awesome menu. I had the Shepherds Pie and my husband had the bangers and mash with a bowl of potato soup. All was very tasty. I also ordered a boozy coffee drink that was so delicious! Ended up buying a couple of 6 packs of the local brew and some Irish cream. We will definitely be back when we are in the area.

Not fabulous. Really didn't enjoy the bangers & mash. Just not tasty. Customer service wasn't particularly good either. Might try someplace else...
