“My family and I stopped here on our way back to Minnesota after a long road trip. I had just received some scary medical news during the drive and was struggling to stay positive and hold myself together. When I went in to order our coffee to go, I noticed a wall covered in various Bible versus. The first verse I saw was Philippians 4:6-7. “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray for everything.” It took everything in me to not turn into a puddle while waiting in line. Those words immediately hit me and brought a wave of comfort. In addition to these powerful words, the staff was unbelievably kind and patient. My husband wanted a “miel,” which is not a drink on their menu. The barista looked up how to make one and they did it right on the spot. He continues to comment on how great they did and how much he enjoyed the drink. I will forever be grateful that we took this little detour for some coffee. Our drinks were 10/10 and I found just the words from God that I desperately needed in that moment. Thank you, Kingdom Coffee. If we are ever in the area for another trip, we will absolutely be back. ❤️”

“First time for us to eat here. I had the Reuben sandwich and my husband had the cat fish special. All very delish. Can’t believe they have been here over 9 years and we just tried it. We will for sure be back. We drove from Lawson and the drive is not bad at all.”

“If you travel anywhere around the Weatherby/Maysville, MO area, the Old Cook Stove is a must stop place for breakfast or lunch. The owners are awesome and the staff are the best. Freshly baked goods, deli sandwiches and soups are fantastic. Great coffee/tea bar as well. You won't be disappointed.”

“Huge variety of delicious & reasonably priced food, attentive staff, and surprisingly fast service. Place was packed full for dinner on Saturday night but servers were flying all over the place and we dod not have to wait long at all for our meals.

Only drawback is the lack of parking but don't let that discourage you, there's plenty of room inside.”

“We stopped in while passing through on our way to Hannibal, MO. We weren’t expecting the bake shop to be open yet, but decided to take a chance — and we’re so glad we did! The friendly owner graciously invited us in, even though the cinnamon rolls weren’t quite ready yet (which we completely understood). Not wanting to leave empty-handed, we picked up a loaf of banana bread instead.

We each had a generous slice with our coffee once we got back on the road, and it was absolutely worth the stop. Delicious! We hope to come back someday to try those cinnamon rolls — they smell like they’re worth the wait!”

“Passing through the area of the way to des Moines. Stop for the night at the area motel. Decide to try this food and was surprised by the food. Was very delicious and full of flavor. The Hawaiian chicken was delicious and highly recommended. The shrimp cocktail was made with careful. The employees where very friendly and helpful.”

“Best subway experience in a long time, Michaela was super helpful and I think the only person on staff at the time. Greeted me when I walked in the door and was attentive energetic, bubbly and sincere. Nice to see young people still working and learning how to work with others in customer service, the experience was efficient, courteous, fast and friendly.m and she took care to prepare a nice sandwhich while we visited.”

“Y'all need to give the guy that was working tonight a raise! I didn't catch his name, but he was the military boat chef guy.
I've never seen somebody work so hard. I'd hire him in a minute if I lived closer and saw that work ethic.
On top of being ultra productive, he was super happy and was interacting positively with the customers as well as encouraging his coworker.
