“Great catfish, black-eyed peas, cabbage, sweet potatoes, mac'n'cheese, meatloaf, fried chicken, and a lot of other dishes as well. Excellent spot to get traditional items that can be hard to find, such as chitlins, turkey necks, pork necks, and other home-cookin' staples. Pro tip: get there right when they open. They are very popular and only have a few parking spots. Also, you'll have to wait a while as the line can get long. If you're *really* late, they'll run out of items. Be aware, too, that the selection changes depending on what they make that day. Everyone there is EXTREMELY friendly! They are very kind people who love their customers! The restaurant is tiny -- a lot of people get their food to go.“

“Found this while driving thru on Sunday and based on the reviews, just had to try. Apparently the plate lunches are only served on Soul Food Sunday. Many great offerings but I opted for fried chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy, and collard greens. Had a short wait to get the food, but totally worth it because it was freshly cooked - had to let the chicken cook off! - and delicious. All wings but I love wings. Potatoes were creamy with gravy and greens were right Southern touch. Definitely stopping again when I'm in town.“

“If you want good ole Southern Home Cooking at its best, Rosie's Place would be a good start. The first dish you are going to be served when you get there is a big deep plate of friendly southern hospitality. Rosie is a sweetheart of a person. A warm, radient smile and someone you instantly like.I strongly suggest her fried catfish. It is to die for good.Ignore the hours posted on the door. They are wrong. The ones listed on Google maps the day we went are correct, according to Rosie.Don't be fooled by the exterior of the building. The adventure begins when you go inside.“
