I shop this Kroger because it is convenient to where I live. however i would never recommend this store. The customer service is horrible, the shelves are empty most of the time ...never any steaks out and apparently they cant cut any either .. the seafood selection is crap. this is the second year I have ordered a cake first time had to be redone 3 times go to another store to get pieces and then was barely ready in time for party after ordering 3 weeks ahead. last weekend tried again well I ordered chocolate cake and got vanilla the writing on it was missing what it was suppose to say. Nothing done about it well cause could never get a manger over to talk to me called to talk to one waited 30 minutes on hold so I finally hung up. my mother works for Kroger corporate and i had to let her know how disappointed I was!! overall it is just a bad experience at Kroger in batesville!! oh and to top it off when I went to get my cake I stood there for at least 10 min after the lady saw me so she could finish stocking whatever boxes!!

I just purchased a "Holiday Meal " from this Kroger and I have to say it was very good. We came in to town and wanted to have a sit down family dinner. The ham was amazing, the dressing was great, but that sweet potato casserole was delicious and gone quickly! Had it ready to go when I got there and took about a hr to warm it all up.

Dear Kroger Management: I shop at Kroger regularly, and have been doing so since Safeway left Batesville. That's a long time, 30 years or so. I have recently become more and more nauseated by the music played overhead. It's the worst of the 70's: The Carpenters, Olivia Newton John, Captain and Tennille, etc. I was shopping recently and heard Muskrat Love. I nearly threw up. I understand it is hard to find music that appeals to everyone, and doesn't offend anyone. But please do something different. This is awful. Instrumental music would be easier on the ear and/or easier to ignore. I look forward to hearing from you, and hearing something different when I shop. Thanks.
