It was closed. But it's a nice place I changed to 5 🌟 s. After reading your reply. I only put 3 because it was closed that afternoon. It really is a nice place. I have been there several times before. And it was always great!
Breakfast was fantastic, except for the grits. Plain white grits, no salt, no butter and served nearly ice cold.
The toasted biscuits were amazing. The breakfast sausage was expert! The oatmeal was fresh, simple, delicious. The waffles was super crisp. The coffee was fantastic! Can’t wait to return, but next time will skip the grits.

Wonderful experience. High expectations heading into Mockingbird Cafe and it did not disappoint.
I’m a sucker when it comes to good biscuits and these paired with their homemade jam were excellent. The burger was delicious. The bacon was crispy, and the hash-browns were a welcomed twist.
Be sure to get a menu as you walk in before ordering and do not be intimidated by the large crowd; they handled it like a Chick-fil-A drive through.
