This small restaurant, in different forms and under different owners, has been serving food in this building for at least six decades, and in every variation the food has been good.They are very generous with their meat portions. I had the pulled pork and added sausage. The meat was good and the sides were excellent, desert great, friendly people, and wonderful history.
Hole in the wall barbecue joint, like many good barbecue places are... not much atmosphere except the smell of smoked meat! Smoked chicken & wings were super. Both served dry if you want them like that, with sauce on the side. Ribs are St Louis style, not baby back, & are excellent. Only open Thursday- Sat I believe, and only for lunchtime. Nice, efficient server.
