Young man assembling the bbqs came from the dining area talking with a friend. He was called to the kitchen to make the bbqs but never washed his hands and did not use gloves. He pulled the meat from a container with bare hands and mashed it onto the bun. Good food but don’t like nasty.

if you haven't ate here the food is amazing the bbq sandwich are delicious and well worth it .. And the Vance burgers and the hamburger steaks plates its definitely worth the trip here

We are here this weekend while visiting the area. It’s a locals place with several diffeeent BBQ choices. They have 6-8 tables including one on the front porch, a single clean restroom and the food was great. The BBQ sauce was sweet and very tasty. They also had another unique dressing style sauce that was very good. Their iced tea was also excellent. You order at the counter, pay and seat yourself. The staff was very friendly and service at our table was fast. Serving sizes were large so you won’t leave hungry. A pair of tvs hanging from the corners of the small dining area had sports channels but the volume was kept low enough to not be a distraction. It’s one of those small local places we love to find when traveling and will certainly return there when we are in the area. I requested TA add this restaurant as I was surprised to find it was already here. I wish I had taken a photo while eating there but it didn’t occur to me until I tried to add this review and saw there were none on TA.

The resturant is basic but has a large variety on the menu. There is a good staff and plenty of accomidation as most people carry out. It is overall a barbeque place, but there are some nice items outside of the typical bbq experience. Carryout is easy and they cater events very well also.
