I grew up in North Texas eating fried catfish regularly. I’ve had good, great, and pretty terrible catfish over the years and The Fish Place’s catfish ranks right up there with the better ones. Filets are a good size and the portions are generous. The cole slaw is a nice vinegar with white pepper. The fries were crisp and the hush puppies were well seasoned. This is the very best fish in this area, maybe anywhere. I personally can't think of anywhere that I've had better fish. The baked potato and hush puppies are always good as well.

The servings are gigantic! I swear, my husband and I, could share one plate , and have plenty left over! Their fish is great! It is really tasty! Their hush puppies are outstanding! Highly recommend!!
