Who would of expected such a fantastic meal and experience in the rural Mississippi town of Belzoni. Anyone Who appreciates great food should check this place out- the chef has some great ideas y’all. I had a perfectly grilled filet on eggplant with a side of mashed potatoes. Tender and perfectly spiced. They knocked it outta the park people! Friendly staff and clearly a local hangout. Wish I would have taken pictures to share.
A couple of months ago I wrote a review that was extremely critical and harsh towards Allison's. After some time I realized I was being unfair and vindictive and doing exactly what I hate about social media. I want to apologize to Allison and her staff for my harsh comments and criticisms. Stopped on way to Hot Springs Ark and my wife and I had their lunch special which was hamburger steak. The sides were really good but the hamburger steak was as good of any hamburger steak that I ave ever had. It's name has changed from Allison, but Allison is still on the top front of the building. Well worth stopping by to get a meal as I'm sure their other special are great.
