We stopped at Bentonia Bugs while on our way to Dauphin Island, Alabama, and what a hidden gem! Don’t let the exterior fool you—this place is a must-visit. Between the four of us, we had the chicken bites, fried shrimp, catfish, raw oysters, and boiled shrimp, and every bite was fantastic. The flavors and freshness were truly impressive. It’s now a favorite, and we’ll definitely be returning on our next trip. Highly recommend—10/10!
I had my first Bentonia Bugs dining experience and highly recommend it. From the setting to the service to the food … it was great. Our waitress was so wonderful. Thanks for the experience and look forward to next time!
Very good restaurant with a young man playing the guitar and singing. The food, I had shrimp, my husband had frog legs, was good and the atmosphere was good. The patrons and staff were very friendly.
