How terrible is it that I tried to tip our bartender over $100 for Christmas and THE company would not allow it. The local Applebees is the bomb, greatest people ever. But the company won’t allow us to bless them more than $99.
So horrible to treat employees that excel that way.

I travel a lot, this place here! Great bartender! She had a full bar, my SO, his brother and I all attended this Applebees on Veterans Day! It was super busy, but she handled everything with poise and enthusiasm! Our food came out hot, and hardy any waiting around! They were on it! Drinks were always full and the atmosphere was great!!!!

I waited inside for host.She came and just stared on me without any word ( very weird!).I said Well can I go to take a table.She kept staring..I just took a table but she left without any word.I sat for a while,nobody brought always,nobody took an order..I started talk to next table woman bc she was shocked why I have nothing.Then a manager heard us and started to serve me..but it was very bad from 1st place,very disrespectful

The restaurant opened 17 minutes late. I had to knock on the door and the manager opened the restaurant. The server was excellent, but there were only 2. I can't blame the server for the lack of service since there were only 2. She did everything she could to keep up. The food was served at room temperature, not hot. We were the first one in, the people seated in the booth next to us had loud people.

My fiance and I went to a concert and decided to stop by this location this past Saturday worst mistake ever. We waited a hour for our food and the waiter which was a guy had a really bad nonchalant additude when being asked what was taking our food so long. Some people in another section came in after us and had the same exact thing as my finace ate their food and left before we were even served. Not to top it off our waiter went and got the manager who didn't really give a flip either she went to go talk to our waiter then never returned to smooth the situation out which we paid for our food and tipped the waiter. We definitely will never be stopping by this location again I'll give them a 1/10

The restaurant was very accommodating for our party of 22 people. He was very clean. The waitress was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu ..although she did mention she was new She was a hostess and now a server. One order was incorrect and she was able to take care of it right away and make everything right. They were not able to put our entire group at one long table we had to sit at a high top and split that with several tables that were put together. Restrooms were clean however could use some modernization and a little bit of repair. An electrical outlet in the restroom was in direct line of sight of the hand washing area if a small child was in there and playing in the water this may not go well. Maybe some child proof plugs should have been placed in the electrical receptacle. The volume of the TV screens were at a normal level where you could carry on a good conversation without having to raise your voice. Menu prices were in line with other coastline Applebee's. The bill was approximately $22 with tip and drink. The ribs are what I had and were flavorful and not dry. Refills came fast and constant even though we were in a large group. This restaurant does have an active bar.

I haven't eaten here in over a decade, and now I remember why. Service and staff were great, but the food was awful. So much sugar added, one bite was all I could handle. Lesson learned... again.
Service was horrible. Food tasted like it was cooked on dirty equipment. Took over hour to get food. Horrible

Over all its a great place just slow service at times but that's expected, could use a little improvement but over all it's a decent restaurant. Give them a try if you haven't already.

We visited Applebee’s on Cedar Lake on Monday for the hamburger special which comes with a drink, but the lady went ahead and charged us for a drink extra so we didn’t get the 999 hamburgers Monday special instead of be paid almost $12 and some change. If you get the quack job later that we got make sure you tell her Mondays drinks are free, but she went ahead and did it her way that’s why I did not give her a tip. In fact I think she put the drink that I paid for in her pocket. I won’t be back. This woman has messed us up several times.

Ate at Applebees last night. Had two Birthdays. Food was great. Our server Jennifer was so sweet and very attentive. She got our order on point. We really enjoyed everything and service was fabulous! She explained the pancake breakfast to us and said if we could not be there we could make a donation. We really think highly of a company that gives back to employees. Overall, we will be back!!! Thanks Jennifer!!!!
