A great family vibe, lovely staff and kind owners. Come check them out 10/10 recommend. The sushi and food is great
Came to grab some sushi, and ended up trying a lot more, the pan fried gyoza was good, the crab Rangoon's were nice and crispy with a good flavor, and the egg-rolls were also great. I tried the honeymoon roll, and got an old favorite of mine the hurricane roll. Was gonna save some for later and ended up eating it all anyway lol, last but not least, the taro bubble tea was great, I like mine thick like a smoothie but either way is good. The lady at the bar is always nice, definitely a laid back atmosphere. Happy hour from 4:30- close, a good time to grab a drink.
Management is disrespectful and the quality/ portions of their food have SIGNIFICANTLY gone down in the past few months!! Yet, somehow they continue to increase their menu prices every other week? Don’t waste your time here!!
Employees bring their crying, screaming kids to work, making it impossible to have a conversation. If you’re overwhelmed easy, or looking for a quiet place to enjoy your meal after work…DO NOT COME HERE!!
The owner is EXTREMELY money hungry!! Prioritizing the money you spend OVER quality service and customer satisfaction. After being a weekly regular for over 7 months, it’s clear Izakaya doesn’t value their customers. Nor do they have any regard for professionalism, and sound business practices, as they continually raise prices while shrinking portion sizes.
I’ve been a regular for almost 7 months with no issues, spending roughly $50 weekly here, but yesterday was the first time I had an issue with both food AND management.
I’ve ordered the Pho w/ tai many times, and enjoyed it IMMENSELY, however last night was a disaster. We waited over an hour for our food, and when it arrived, my food was inedible. The broth was bland, the meat was tough and flavorless, the bean sprouts were brown for some reason, and the noodles were a mushy overcooked mess. The sauces were fine, my friend enjoyed their meal, and our waitress was great. But being someone who comes here weekly, I could tell as soon as the server brought the dish out, it was going to taste off.
When I complained, the owner was rude and dismissive. I attempted to explain the dish didn’t taste right, and while I was talking she LITERALLY sighed and walked off. Minutes laster he came back, with my meal in hand, claiming I’d eaten all the meat, and insisted I’d pay for it. She then aggressively moved the noodles around as if to show me “lack of meat” spilling the broth on both the table and on me and my friend.
I obviously didn’t eat more than a single piece, so I also grabbed fork and began to removed each piece of meat she had “claimed” I had eaten. When removing a third piece she took the bowl away from me and walked off saying “it’s fine.
If you want a family-friendly spot with great service, go to Popp’s Pizza on the other end of the plaza. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME WITH THIS PLACE!!
Food is always fresh and friendly service. Don’t don’t give you a lot of veggies for your pho. Other than that, they’re good!
Stay away! Services is disorganized, chaotic actually waited an hour and, our order still wasn’t ready, we decided to leave and waitress called us from parking lot that our food was ready!? They delivered main meal first and our appetizers after? Too much confusion going on and to top it off no management to speak of, and a $130 bill on a couple of items?! We should have left and not went back in, our mistake. So drive by and not bother.
Super clean fresh delicious food. Pepper, our waitress was super friendly and helpful. Clean restaurant nice atmosphere and there’s a great bar with specialty drinks.
Super fresh delicious clean food. Pepper, our waitress so friendly and so helpful. Nice clean atmosphere upbeat music I’ll definitely be back.
The most welcoming restaurant I've ever been to. The owner is incredibly sweet, the restaurant is very clean & well kept up, and the food tasted great.
They host trivia and bingo nights, too! I hope to join for one eventually:)
I will definitely be going back.
The food is good. I love that the menu has so many choices.

Food was good but nigiri seemed a bit dry. Waitress was very helpful and friendly. My biggest complaint was the owner changed prices on some menus but not all. She refused to accept the price on my menu and charged me the higher $6.00 price on her hand changed menu. The food was good but I have had better. Do not think I will go there again.
always been my favorite Japanese spot on the coast. you can tell the fish is good quality, and there's a lot of care taken in the preparation. Great service as well! I tell everyone about this place.
Good food
Terrible. Just awful. We were the only people in the restaurant and they were so slow and the food was not good. It took 15 minutes to even get a drink. This place was amazing before new ownership. I’ve never been to a place where sushi took so long. And the prices are so high for what you are actually getting.
