awesome food and service
If I could recommend more than 100% I would! The food, service, and staff were all incredible! I highly recommend the boudin egg rolls, the fried shrimp, the white chocolate bread pudding, and the crawfish etoufee! Our server Tara was phenomenal and so informative! We will 1000% be back!

Menu
Parrain's Cajun Cooking is a gem on the coast, offering amazing Cajun cuisine in a cozy, comfortable, and quaint atmosphere. The service is always great, with servers who are friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. The restaurant is also noted as the cleanest place visited during a trip through Mississippi.
The food hits the mark for truly good Cajun type cuisine. The shrimp po'boy is one of the best, with shrimp seasoned right and crispy without being greasy, held together by perfect bread. The crawfish étouffée is just as solid, with a rich and full-flavored sauce. The Taste of the Bayou and Swamp Tour are amazing, and the sampler platter is yummy, though some wished for a non-rice option. The Boudin Balls and jambalaya are phenomenal, and the beignets are great. The fried bread is oily and greasy but a real treat, especially dipped in other dishes. This is not rushed, tourist-type food; it tastes like the cooks care about what they are putting out. Parrain’s is a go-to spot for Cajun cuisine on the coast.
