I really want to give the place four or five stars
Ordered a simple to go order Poboy was missing two of the three meats and lukewarm roast beef
The quality of the food certainly has potential terrific bread flavor seemed great
However, when the staff cannot even make a Poboy as described on the menu, no modifications. It’s relatively disappointing.
Tried calling could not get through to the actual restaurant.
Don’t think I’ll be going back and cannot recommend it

I ordered the shrimp and beef poboy and after a 20 minute wait(in an empty shop) I was served raw shrimp. The shrimp was floppy and had the texture of jello. I informed the staff to which she politely let me know that it was boiled. I’ve been cooking seafood for decades - that shrimp was floppy, grey, and translucent. She offered to reboil the shrimp, but the sandwich would still not be safe for consumption. She kindly replaced it with an old yeller cheddar as I said I wasn’t confident in the seafood cooking ability of the establishment. After another 20 minute wait, I ended up having three bites of the old yeller cheddar and tossing it. My stomach had turned at that point and the only thing I could taste was their jalepeno mayo and cold Kraft singles. My spouse had the same opinion of her old yeller cheddar. We had half poboys. The staff was very polite, at least. They seemed very understaffed and distressed. As I write this review, I also notice someone three weeks ago was served raw seafood and posted a similar review. Once is a coincidence, twice is a pattern.

The scooby shrimp was delicious. Just the right amount of heat for my taste. Knew jalapeño was there but didn’t blow an out the palate. The 1/2 was perfect size for lunch. There were plenty of shrimp on the po boy and a generous portion of fries

A hidden gem. A full po boy feeds two. The fries are worth the extra price.

Being from New Orleans myself, my girlfriend told me to try this place. So I got the turkey melt, the server didn’t know what order I was talking about I think due to shift change, but the sandwich was 80% lettuce flavor was 3 out of 10 and for 2 sandwiches some bagged chips and having to pay for separate drinks that are the size for a small child is just not going to cut it! Much better food places and deals out there! And a total of 41.22 for 2 people. I hope you pay the young adults working there well.

We ordered a crawfish and a dipped sandwich they were delicious and any ppl from New Orleans living anywhere near here I recommend trying this place. There's a few others as well. I'm not sure the bread is traditional New Orleans French bread because it's softer and not as crunchy but it still held up again the fillings. I have never seen French bread that texture back home but I still enjoy the heck out of my food. Oh and everything is seasoned
Kid-friendliness: They had plenty sandwich options for kids

I have been 5 times now and Good Boy Po-Boy has gotten progressively worse. The first time I went(opening day 2/1/23), It was good, a little heavy on the gravy but as long as it tastes good, give it to me. I likened it to Pirate's Cove in Pass Christian and that is a good thing. It has been a disaster since. Inconsistent sandwiches, a lot of gravy then hardly any gravy, ask for mayo, get barely any mayo, roast beef is cold, etc. Ask for some gravy on the side and get told no. Could Good Boy Po-Boy be something? Maybe, but I can't afford to go back. The sandwiches are too expensive to take the chance that it might be just okay all the way to down right bad. The chips are nonedible, I applaud trying to make your own but they are over salted every time. Give me some gravy to dip those chips in because by themselves they stink. Broma chips in Brookhaven, that is the way to make your own chips! The idea is great, I want to be able to go downtown and eat at a local sandwich shop, I live right down the street. But this isn't Tiger Po-Boy in Hammond. It really is not worth your time or money. Maybe for $2.50 less a sandwich I could afford to roll the dice but not at these prices. Drinks are expensive everywhere but at least give me something larger than a shot glass to drink from, and stop charging my kid full price for a CUP of water, that is offensive. Charge me for the cup but not soda price for fountain water.Lastly, the service has ranged from not great to bad. Perhaps they are always one worker short and that leads to the counter person feeling annoyed she has customers but it is no fun to overpay for spotty food and rude service. No one is a bigger fan of sandwiches than I but I don't think this will be it. And even if it got better, I have been burned enough, I wont go back. Send me some coupons because I am willing to have my mind changed but it is a pretty steep hill to climb, like trying to push a car up East Jasper!Honestly Subway is better and that is really saying something.
Parking: It is a small lot but there is parking around. It may take a few passes to find a spot but there will be something.

Way overpriced for what it is. Guy working was super nice and helpful, though, so I give them 5 stars for service.

Over-priced meh poboys. Soggy in-house made chips and dainty cups for drinks. Not worth the time or day.

The chips had a solid layer of salt on them. They could not even be eaten. The “po’boys” are not real po’boys, they are just regular subs! The breads not even authentic French bread. They were not friendly and the service takes forever. It should not take 30 minutes to receive a sandwich. It’s pretty pricey and you can get way better stuff at subway.
