I really wanted to like this place. Food was so bland and lacked flavor. The salsa needed an entire container of salt. I usually don't even put salt in mine but had to. It was like tomato water. The birria tacos were edible. The beef was good and the soup sauce was good but the tortilla shell was chalky and soggy. The waiter was very kind and attentive. The atmosphere is classy but they need some music or something. Everyone can hear everyone else's conversations. The margs are decent as well.

I noticed this restaurant maybe a week or so before it opened, and I had told myself that I'd give it a try!Whether you're simply looking in through the large, open windows that serve as the restaurant's front-facing wall, or you take your first step into the building, you'll very quickly notice that it is very lively inside--maybe a bit too lively for some. At 6PM on a Sunday evening, It was very, very noisy in the building, as the walls seemed to echo and amplify over a hundred dining customers' voices.Despite the crowd, I am quickly seated, asked for my drink, and provided with chips and salsa. The chips are about average, though there were some in my basket that were a bit on the over/undercooked side. The salsa is pretty good, in my opinion, though I've certainly had better.I ordered three Mexican tacos, asada (steak), chorizo, and pastor (grilled pork with pineapple), wrapped in a corn tortilla with onions and Cilantro, served on a narrow, wooden block that was sized for the tacos, though I would have preferred a plate. The Cilantro didn't quite taste fresh, but the taco was very good, especially the Pastor and Chorizo! The green salsa they serve with it is good, and the spicy, darker red sauce had a nice kick. That said, I think the three Mexican tacos are a little overpriced. You can order any one of those tacos a la carte for $4 each, but 3 tacos would be $15. I would have appreciated a fourth taco at that price point, and you could probably get two tacos and some side for nearly $15 and have more food. I think they should adjust the "3 for $X" pricing if they want to sell these more frequently.Customer service was good. You can definitely see in their faces that they're working very hard to serve their customers, so be sure to tip them well!Overall, I enjoyed the restaurant and would recommend it to anyone who doesn't mind eating in a very noisy environment. Next time, I will order the burrito texaco!

I was excited to try this place out because i have heard good things about it. Honestly it wasn’t bad but it wasn’t as great as I thought it would be based off of the reviews. We started out with the queso fundido which was pretty thick and could have had more cheese for $11 in my opinion but the dish it was in was in was pretty short. The chips and salsa were okay, the chips weren’t fresh when they were brought out and the salsa didn’t have much flavor to it. I ended up getting the grilled chicken chimichanga fajita, and when i cut it open it was mostly peppers and onions with a little bit of chicken. Someone else got the shredded chicken chimichanga and it was tiny. I tried a bite of the grilled shrimp quesadilla and it was ok, the shrimp was good but it didn’t have much in it and could have used more cheese and the quesadilla wasn’t really grilled much, a good quesadilla will have a slightly crispy tortilla and this was really just a big soft tacos. The rice and beans were ok nothing special.

This is a great addition to the downtown Brandon area. The food is great. The salsa is fantastic. Service is a little slow, but I am guessing they are still trying to work the kinks out.

I’ve always been wanting to try this restaurant, and today, I was able to. I ordered their chimichanga, it was AMAZING. I don’t normally leave reviews for restaurants, but I want to try to put this place on the map, keep making amazing food.

Great service, very quick and fair prices. Our server was very friendly and the atmosphere is very enjoyable. My only critique is the food is lacking in authenticity, if that's what you're looking for this may be a little too Americanized for you.

My family and I ate here opening night. The food and service were both excellent. I highly recommend the guacamole Mexicano and baria (sp?) tacos. Great location in downtown Brandon!

I checked them out the first day they opened. The food was great. Service was good. I do want to add a little constructive criticism. They are located on the main street in downtown Brandon and have huge windows. I definitely enjoyed the view. The day I went it may have been about 75 degrees outside and the sun was beaming into the window. Luckily, it wasn’t too hot that day but I can only imagine what it would feel on a summer day. I hope they get the windows tinted! I would visit again.
