I stopped in for lunch on one of the first cold days of the year. I had planned to have something heartier but the Steak Pho sounded delicious…and it was! What a nice break from my “same old same old” lunch routine! Friendly service and good prices.
I've been looking for a place in the greater Jackson area to get a Banh Mi sandwich for going on 3yrs. Let me tell you, Retro Vietname made my dreams a reality. It was really hard not to order the pho here, but I stuck to my guns and got the pork Banh Mi, add tomatoes and onions - it was everything I had been dreaming of. We loved everything we had here.
The banh mi was very very good. The spring rolls were very very good. The pho was average. We paid $30 for two for dinner (w/o spring rolls, would’ve been $23ish). The restaurant is very clean. The service was excellent. I hate places that serve you as if they’re doing you a favor. The attitude of this place is the opposite. The family is happy you’re there and the food is very good. Highly recommend.
