We visited tonight and Jaci Lashay was amazing! They were very short staffed and she was having to wait on all of the tables inside and out, and she did a very good job. Too many people like to blame a waitress for restaurant issues…..I saw many people that were mad at her, when she was literally having to prepare food herself!
Love the atmosphere and service! Highly recommend!
Great place. Real Southern atmosphere and hospitality. The beer was ice cold, the crawdads spicy hot, the wait staff was kind and friendly. Do you self a favor and eat here when you come through town.

The Back Porch offers a great atmosphere and friendly service. The food is decent, with some dishes standing out, such as the shrimp and crawfish. The crawfish is fresh and perfectly seasoned, changing the minds of even those who usually do not enjoy it. The restaurant serves large portions and has a great view. While prices may be a bit steep, especially for a meal that includes 10 lbs of crawfish, 2 orders of mushrooms, 1 order of potatoes, and 1 order of corn, the experience is worth it. The ambiance is enhanced by great live music, and the beer is ice cold. Although the staff can be short-handed during busy times, the service remains commendable. The Southern hospitality and real atmosphere make it a great place to visit, especially on a lively Friday night.
