This place embodies all that soul food is. The staff greets you upon entering the building.The food was fresh, hot, and seasoned to perfection!??We didn't eat there, and the food was still hot after the 15-minute drive home. I will definitely be back each time I visit home!
Soul Food Heaven! If you're ever passing through Canton, Missippi during weekday lunchtime, don't pass up on this quaint restaurant off I-55 South on Depot Street. There's no big neon sign, so don't dare mistake the 19th century house as a residence. Don't let the takeout containers the food is served in sway you. The Cooking Diva's boxes are filled with homemade goodness and oh, is it delicious! It's served up hot, little wait and with a cornbread muffin that is out of this world!
