I’ll start out by saying if you need comfort food they have it! Its served daily! Good service amazing people with friendly faces! And I don’t think there is a cake Mrs Louann can’t make!! From weddings to family gathering cakes she can do it and they taste fabulous 😊
Passing through and gave it a try. Just good ole small town locally owned shirt order cafe that’s just right. Me and the wife both ordered the open faced roast beef that came with a simple side salad that was crisp and fresh. Toasted loaf bread topped with thinly sliced roast beef and brown gravy and fries on the side. It was hot and tasty. Service was nice and helpful. Enjoyed company of the others dining while we were there. I would definitely come back. Small town personified.
I loved the atmosphere and the food. I felt like i was at home, only better. It was a warm day and the usual menu was not available, but the service was very helpful and accommodating. The food was very good and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. i really appreciated the experience i had here, and would probably seek it out if i visit Mississippi again. It may seem strange to say but the lunch i had at The Bakery and Cafe in Carthage MS was one of the stand-out highlights...
