I stopped by here after the recommendation on Matt's Adventures. So I ordered the chicken nuggets and fried green tomatoes and then the jalepeno cheese curds. The staff was friendly and service was quick, about 10 minutes. The shining star was the cheese curds with the runner up being the fried green tomatoes. The chicken nuggets could have used more salt but I dipped then in the ranch and they were fine. But I will be back for more cheese curds.

Tasty chicken nuggets and fried shrimp. Loved the coconut and apple pies as well. Great break from franchise fast food chicken nuggets. Proportions of food were good. A kids meal was enough for me as an adult.

My family and I have been eating at the Chicken Nugget for many years. But over the last few years I have seen a decline. The food is still really good, but the prices that they charge don't reflect the portions of food that you receive. The service is hit and miss I have had times where they are really friendly and then times that they are not so friendly. Also please bring back the salad bar that used to be one of the main reasons that I went there.

3.5 rounded up to 4! Decided to eat at a local restaurant instead of a chain while traveling through and found Chicken Nugget. The food was hot and fresh and came out quickly even though they were steady busy! The chicken nuggets are yummy but I personally like a little more seasoning to them but they would be fine if you like sauce.

I eat at this restaurant at least once a week. I introduced my lady to it and she loves it! We order the same thing each visit. We both get fish plate. However, I get fries and coleslaw. She get fish with double fries. Tonight we went, they left the double fries off. And they made it a big deal about giving extra fries. I explained to them the problem and they did not try to fix it at all. Customer service is a huge plus when I'm selecting places to visit.

Corn nuggets were not hot but chicken nuggets were great. I was sad to see there is no longer a salad bar. The ready made salads are not great...just marginally ok.

I have ate at Chicken Nugget for 20 years or more . Since the Dad handed down his business to his son , it has went down bad. Last year on two separate occasions I ordered from there , I ordered a hamburger steak plate , the hamburger steak was a fake pattie, it had no gravy on it . I didn’t get a salad . I ordered several plates the shrimp plate had 6 tiny shrimp with more batter than anything on it .i got home and called back, the girl that answered said they wrote down the wrong thing and I could come back to town and get the salad and gravy. I don’t live in town . I am not spending 50.00 to eat out and not be able to eat it .

This place was recommended by a friend "Melanie" who said I had to try The Chicken Nugget. Chicken so fresh you'd sware it was purchased today. I say that because I met the owner and his dad this morning while getting breakfast. The father told me he ran the business since 1984 and couldn't do it anymore and his son took over. The dad said he was on his way to go look at fresh chickens this morning and told me the chicken was fresh never frozen. The cashier was super sweet and friendly. Thanks Melanie!! Great choice!!
