They have a variety of local meats including deer sausages that I particularly like. This gas station, slash restaurant, slash meat shop has a small town country feel with good tasting food.
Our large group stopped for lunch at the attached restaurant. The food was well done, authentic, and fresh! If you leave hungry it's your own fault! The available food has something for everyone, including a nice salad bar and hot rolls!

Passing through as a pit stop back to Baton Rouge, and...this is a great store and the restaurant looks very legit! We definitely want to go back just to eat at the buffet!
