If you like New Orleans style seafood, this is the place for you. I lived in New Orleans for 10 years. This reminds me of some hole in the wall place off of Carondelet that really has good food. Boiled and fried shrimp, boiled crawfish, Catfish, hush puppies, and crab legs. All taste delicious. About 4 miles north of chunky Mississippi on I 20. Really good food. Now this is a trailer that has been expanded to seat probably about 100. It’s not fine dining, but the dining is fine.

Kid-friendliness: Bring the kids. They’ve got food for them too.

We will definitely be back! Crawfish, Shrimp, the fixings and milkshakes were all delicious! The staff is welcoming from the guys outside boiling to the ladies behind the counter and everyone in between. 90’s country music playing while eating good food is a win - win!

Cajun Cooking has the best boiled and fried shrimp ever! It’s very consistent and delicious each visit, over many years! My son will wait for them to open each season and doesn’t eat shrimp at other places. He says I will just wait for Cajun Cooking to open. It has a nice bayou-like restaurant atmosphere. The staff is helpful! Worth every penny! We go home very happy and saying that was so good, several times each time to each other after leaving. That’s rare at most restaurants. Great job Cajun Cooking!
