Atzimba Mexican Restaurant

My feelings are hurt 🥹, Me and my kids went to Atzimba, just when I was about to find a seat… the owner stopped me & said…. Can I speak with you for a moment….. so we walked towards the register & as he stated…I understand that your son is ill but last time you were here you stayed over an hour & people were complaining….. I understand him (BRYSON IS AUTISTIC) cause I have a sister just like that😳, I mean you can stay but don’t stay more than an hour. As he was steady trying to explain himself…. I instantly cut him off saying ….. if my son isn’t welcomed here than my time & money isn’t either…. How you gone put a time on how long it takes me & my kids to eat our dinner….. my feelings were hurt…. I started crying 😔

Due to a close friend being told her dine in time shouldn’t be no longer than an hour due to her autistic child , I will no longer support this business. This place doesn’t allow special needs kids here

Outstanding service with plenty of choices for food and beverages.
We ordered the Quesadilla Chicken fajita which was filled with plenty of chicken and vegetables. The rice, beans, guacamole and pico was plentiful.
We also had an order of crispy beef tacos with side of beans. All was well flavored, authentically cooked and nicely plated. We asked for a spicier sauce and was served two salsa verdes which were amazing. Very satisfied and highly recommend.

I usually have a good experience but the other day a bought a large cheese and chips, not only did they try to charge $19 for a $16 cup of cheese. When I looked at my charges the next day they charged my card $36 for a cup of cheese!!! They pulled my receipt and it say $16 but my card was charged $36. Will NOT BE RETURNING!!!

Atzimba is a lively local staple down here in my hometown of Clarksdale, Mississippi. On the off chance that my brother and I do get it, it's always gonna hit every single time. My go-to dish is the Fajita Rice Bowl with a mix of steak & chicken, and his go-to is the Fiesta Burrito with steak, shrimp, chicken & chorizo.

Overall, Atzimba is a lovely Mexican restaurant serving up some well-seasoned & filling food for a decent price. It's an occasional spot for us, but it's worth it. 💖

Absolutely loved this place! Atzimba Mexican Restaurant is a hidden gem. The food was super tasty, freshly made, and served really fast. We tried the carne asada, quesadilla, tacos, and chimichanga — everything was full of flavor and cooked to perfection.

The michelada deserves a special mention — ice cold, refreshing, and just incredible! One of the best I’ve had.

The prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Great service and a cozy, authentic atmosphere.

Highly recommend this spot if you’re craving real Mexican food without breaking the bank. Will definitely be back!
