Had the best experience at Staple! The atmosphere is warm and inviting — classy without being pretentious. Every dish we tried was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. The staff were so friendly and made us feel right at home.
We had a wonderful reception at Staple for our conference with even an added street market! So fun!!
We ordered lunch today and we each enjoyed our lunch (2 tomato bisque w/grilled cheese and 3 smash burgers) plus 2 bread puddings. However, the bread pudding needs something! It’s entirely too heavy, needs more flavor and definitely way too packed. It was not sweet, had a bitter taste, needed a little salt or way more sugar to cut the bitterness. It’s NOT light and fluffy like we are use to. Maybe try using croissants. We threw away our bread puddings 😔

Staple Food and Drink is a restaurant in a hotel with a warm and inviting atmosphere that is classy without being pretentious. The hotel staff were friendly and professional, and the rooms were clean, well lite, comfortable, and quiet, with great views of outside depending on your location. The restaurant offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a unique menu. For breakfast, the Handheld Fried Chicken Biscuit with hash browns and hot honey sauce on the side is a standout, along with homemade biscuits, biscuit and gravy, crispy bacon, fresh fruit, eggs, and excellent waffles. The tomato bisque is excellent, and the traditional sandwich, soup, and salad options for lunch are highly recommended. For dinner, the fried chicken has an incredible batter with warm spices, and the collards are AMAZING. The fry bread is great. The burger has grilled buns and special sauce. The service is excellent and friendly, with staff who are accommodating and sensitive to nut allergies. The drinks are excellent. The atmosphere near the bar is fun. There is lots of potential here. Make your way there if you have not been.
