The ole boys in the back can sure enough throw some good grub on the table. The wife had catfish, she said was good as Jerry’s, IYKYK, she said cole slaw was excellent! I had chicken spaghetti and the yams, oh the yams melt in your mouth! The young lady that took our order was helpful and very courteous! We will most definitely be back. Probably start at top of menu and work my way through 😳😎🤘

WHEW!! I got 12, 5150 wings — cooked perfect! Crispy, flavorful, and a solid size. Not too small, not too big. Right where you want them wing lovers!!
Also grabbed two (crispy) fish plates. They did exactly what I asked — crispy and fresh. The only mistake I made was taking it to go. Food was so fresh it deserved to be eaten right then there. Don’t get me wrong it STILL SMACKED! Next time I’m eating inside, no question.
Sides were fries and mac & cheese and they both hit!
The service stood out. The lady taking my order was nice and hilarious, she made the whole experience better. I’ve learned this too: give people a good smile and treat them how you want to be treated and they’ll usually give it right back!

Uptown has the BEST food! Potato salad, perfect. Country fried steak, AMAZING! When in Columbia, Mississippi this is a definite stop for delicious soul food. Workers are so kind too.

Food looked like school cafeteria food. Sides were from a large chain store and heated in a microwave. It brought out in to-go boxes with a plastic fork. Had to ask for a knife to cut a flat, tasteless country fried steak. Worse food ever eaten
